Feng Shui, King Su of the Ming Dynasty buried his mother three times

The tomb of King Su of the Ming Dynasty is located at the southern foot of Pingding Peak on the north side of Huangjiazhuang Village, Laizibao Township, Yuzhong County, but the original tomb site was not here. The feng shui of ancient emperors was related to the prosperity of the country and future generations, so the location of King Su's tomb went through many twists and turns.

Su Wang Zhu Kai was born in the ninth year of Hongwu (1376). He was the fourteenth son of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang and one of the nine great kings who fought against the barbarians in the early Ming Dynasty. Zhu Gai was relatively peaceful among the Ming Dynasty vassal kings. King Su lived in Lanzhou for 9 generations and 12 kings, which lasted 251 years. After Zhu Gai came to Lanzhou, he had always had a problem in his heart, that is, he had no children.

It is said that the tomb of King Su was originally built at the foot of Wutai Mountain east of the ancient city of Xinying in Yuzhong County. Princess Zhang, the mother of King Su, took a fancy to this place when she went to Mount Wutai to offer incense. She thought this place was like a dragon and snake, with three sides. It is surrounded by mountain peaks and surrounded by green water on both sides. It is a good place, so he told his son that he would be buried here in a hundred years, and King Su did so.

But later, King Su had no heirs, so he could not inherit the throne of the vassal king. Zhu Lai was worried about this, and finally someone suspected that the bad feng shui of Prince Su's mother, Princess Zhang, had affected future generations, so Zhu Lai invited a feng shui master to investigate. Mr. Feng Shui said that there is a place called "Wenjiacha" on the bend of the mountain in front of us. The place name is taboo because "Wen" and "" have the same pronunciation. When King Su heard this, he immediately decided to move his mother's tomb to Longquan in Dingyuan Town. The place name Longquan is great. The emperor is a real dragon and the spring water symbolizes prosperity.

But a few years later, King Su was still childless, so he once again set his sights on Feng Shui. After sending people to investigate, three coal lines were discovered underground at the new tomb site. Zhu Lai believed that the conflict between the real dragon and the fire dragon caused him to have no children, so he decided to move the tomb of his mother-in-law to Zhigu Fort in Pingding Peak. At that time, there was already a family living in Zhigu Fort, so King Su had no choice but to treat the child of that family as his adopted son, and then spent a lot of money to buy the place and rebury his mother.

The locals jokingly called this place "Maizibao", "Mai" and "Lai" are homophonic. As time went by, "Maizibao" was rumored to be "Laizibao". Later, in the long history, "Laizi Fort" was given the auspicious meaning of purple energy coming from the east, and became "Lai Zi Fort".

It was natural for Su Wang Zhu Kai to choose three to bury his mother to change the feng shui. But later he still had a son named Zhu Fanyan, who was later named King Su by the imperial court. The line of King Su continued until the 16th year of Chongzhen (AD 1643), when Li Zicheng's men captured Lanzhou. More than 200 members of the family of Zhu Shihong, the last king of Su, were killed. However, many members of King Su's distant clan survived and continued the legacy of the first generation of King Su.
