Do you need to be able to draw to learn design?
Designers don't have to be able to draw, only designers who can draw can go higher and better. Why else would someone put so much money, energy and time into painting in the early stage?
Of course, some people who can't draw but are excellent in all aspects of design are not excluded.
Because besides painting, graphic design actually has many things that we need to learn and master, such as design software, design methods, design thinking and so on. Different graphic design directions have different design points to master.
For example, posters, Logo, e-commerce and other designs have different design principles and norms, which can be continuously improved in subsequent study and work practice.
If you can't draw, the early stage may have an impact on color and composition, which will hinder the development of later creation, but it will not affect a person's design thinking and ideas.
