Where is Xiaoshan?
Xiaoshan is located in the west of Henan Province, Lingbao County and the south of Shaanxi County, and the residual vein extending eastward is called Mangshan Mountain. Xiaoshan is a branch of the East Qinling Mountains, facing Zhongtiao Mountain in Shanxi across the Yellow River. Together with the famous Sanmenxia, it forms a rock canyon.
Xiaoshan, or three mountains and two mountains. "Notes on Water Mirror" records: "There are mountains of Pankuang, Shi Sheng and Qiankuang in the ancient state, hence the name' Three Ancient States', and it is divided into East Gubang Mountain and West Gubang Mountain, hence the name' Two Ancient States'". The main peak is Qinggang Peak, with an altitude of1903m. It is a natural barrier from Guanzhong, Shaanxi Province to the Central Plains of Henan Province, and has been famous for its precipitousness since ancient times. Xiaoshan is also the watershed of the Yellow River and its tributary Luohe. Climbing north, the Yellow River Valley is deep and fast, which is spectacular.
