How old is Gong Goose Goldfish?

Gong goose goldfish generally begin to grow in the second year.

Gong goose goldfish is also called goose head red goldfish. Goose-headed red goldfish is a unique goldfish species in China, with a body length of10-15cm. The most striking feature is a red raised sarcoma in the middle of the forehead, and the rest is silvery white. Goose-headed red goldfish can only be started in the second year, which is inefficient and has low economic value for farmers, so the number of goose-headed red goldfish on the market is very small at present.

Matters needing attention in aquaculture:

Goose-headed red goldfish has strong adaptability and can survive in the water temperature of 10-30 degrees Celsius. The optimum growth temperature is 22-24 degrees Celsius, and the temperature in this range can make the goose-headed red goldfish grow faster. Goose-headed red goldfish is a kind of temperature-changing animal, its body temperature will change with the water temperature, but if the temperature difference is too large, the fish will get sick if it has a stress reaction. Therefore, when raising red croaker with goose head, it is best to install heating equipment for aquarium.

Goose-headed red goldfish likes neutral weak water, and the PH value of water is controlled at 7.2-7.5. The frequency of water change should not be too frequent. If there is a water purification system, the number of water changes can be reduced. If it is tap water, it needs to be aired for 2-3 days to remove chlorine. In spring and summer, water can be changed once every 10 day, and only13 old water can be changed at a time. The water change time can be appropriately extended in winter.
