How to water potted plants? What is the principle of watering?
Potted flowers are watered in the following ways:
Water before spring, summer and autumn 10 am and after 2pm in winter. The temperature difference between soil and water shall not exceed 5℃, and the watering amount shall be consistent from the basin surface to the basin bottom. It is forbidden to stop the waist with water (wet on the upper part and dry on the lower part) and pit water (accumulated water at the bottom of the basin), and it is also necessary to avoid the loss of soil and fertilizer in the basin hole, resulting in a hollow center of the basin, which seriously affects the growth and development of potted flowers. If you like dry flowers, you should keep the pot soil slightly wet, and the topsoil should be white stubble but not completely dry. Wet-loving flowers often keep the basin soil warm and moist, and the topsoil can't see white stubble, but it is not suitable for long-term wetting.
In the dry season, according to the wet and dry conditions of the basin soil, appropriate amount of water is added to keep the basin soil moist.
In the vigorous growth and development period, watering potted flowers can be used to put strips, plant trees, promote flowers and strengthen fruits. Combined with topdressing, it can increase the amount of watering, keep the topsoil from white stubble and the leaves from wilting.
In the dormant period or low temperature season, or in order to squat seedlings, promote bud pregnancy, prevent overgrowth, and correct the phenomenon of rhubarb leaves and buds falling off, the watering amount should be properly controlled to keep the soil moist and loosen the soil to conserve moisture.
Water spraying In the spring and autumn dry season, in addition to normal watering, water should also be sprayed on leaves and flower cultivation areas to increase the humidity of the small environment. In summer, if it suddenly clears up after rain or it is sultry at night, water should be sprayed to cool down to prevent diseases; In winter, it is dry indoors, and the distribution of water in the basin soil is slow, so it is necessary to spray water on the leaves from time to time to keep them moist. Spray the leaves clean when spraying water to prevent the residual water spots from condensing with the dust on the leaves.
