1. Preliminary understanding of the Feng Shui compass
If you want to learn to read the compass, you need to briefly understand the compass first. The Feng Shui compass is a must-have for every Feng Shui master. It can be said that it is the job of Feng Shui masters. The compass is also called Luogeng, Compass, etc. The Feng Shui compass was created in the Xuanyuan Huangdi era and consists of Tianchi (compass), Tianxin Ten Paths and Inner Pan. The entire disk can rotate back and forth and is a measuring tool used by Feng Shui masters to establish polar orientation when practicing Feng Shui.
A Feng Shui master needs to infer the quality of Feng Shui in a place and find the most favorable and suitable Feng Shui treasure land. First of all, he needs to have rich professional knowledge, and secondly, he needs to use the compass as a tool to determine it.
The common types of compasses on the market now include three-yuan compass, three-in-one compass, three-yuan three-in-one dual-purpose compass, easy compass, Xuankong compass, etc. But no matter which sect, the basic content on the compass is the same.
(1) Tianchi
Tianchi is also called the seabed, which is the familiar compass. Tianchi is fixed in the center of the inner disk. The direction the compass arrow points is south and the other end is north.
Tianchi is regarded as the Tai Chi of the compass, with golden water hidden in it, which is yang in movement and yin in stillness.
(2) Inner disk
The inner disk is the rotating disk outside the compass and is the main part of the compass.
There are many concentric rings printed on the inner disk. Each ring is called a layer. The various contents of the compass are printed on different layers of the inner disk.
