How to adjust gas cutting flame
The cutting nozzle can be tilted backwards (i.e. towards the cutting direction) by 20-30 degrees. In case of explosion and tempering during gas cutting, the oxygen cutting valve should be closed immediately, and then the preheating oxygen valve and acetylene valve should be closed in turn to suspend the gas cutting process. For the thick plate with carbonization flame exceeding 30, the high-pressure wind is deformed by the wind pole, and the speed is slow and stable. Beginners want to listen to poof. Also note that the wind line is perpendicular to the board.
Gas cutting refers to the use of gas flame to preheat the cut metal to the ignition point, so that it burns violently in pure oxygen flow, forming slag and releasing a lot of heat. Under the blowing force of hyperbaric oxygen, the oxide slag is blown away: the released heat further preheats the next layer of metal to reach the melting point. The gas cutting process of metal is a continuous process of preheating, combustion and slag blowing, and its essence is the process of metal burning in pure oxygen, not melting.
Principle: After the flame heat energy of mixed combustion preheats the cutting part of the workpiece to a certain temperature, the high-speed cutting oxygen flow is ejected, so that the metal is violently oxidized and gives off heat, and the molten metal oxide is blown away by the cutting oxygen flow, thus realizing the cutting method. The gas cutting process of metal is essentially the combustion process of iron in pure oxygen, not the melting process.
