Why is Xiaoyi City called Xiaoyi?

Filial piety consists of filial piety and righteousness. Xiaoyi was chosen as the county name because the simple filial piety of Zheng Xing and the beautiful story of "saving the woodcutter with a tiger" (also said: Weichi Gong died of filial piety to Li Shimin, the king of Tang Dynasty) touched the world and evolved.

Xiaoyi is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, managed by Lvliang City, located in the western hinterland of Shanxi Province, at the eastern foot of the middle section of Luliang Mountain, at the southwest corner of Taiyuan Basin, bordering Fenyang City in the north, Zhongyang County in the northwest, Jiaokou County in the west, Lingshi County in the south and Jiexiu City across the Fenhe River in the southeast.
