Who is more powerful, Shaolin or Wudang~!
Shaolin VS Wudang - a battle between the masters of the martial arts cultural industry
Chinese martial arts has a long history. In the process of historical development, it has gradually integrated into the Buddhist and Taoist theories of character cultivation and has since The resources extracted from various Taoist spells and the rich imagination of literati have shaped the various and breathtaking martial arts in martial arts novels, and thus formed an exciting martial arts culture.
In 1982, the movie "Shaolin Temple" was released. "Shaolin Temple" was the first real appearance of Chinese martial arts movies in mainland China. It left an indelible impression on movie fans in China and even around the world. , and more importantly, it brought Chinese martial arts movies to the world stage and launched my country's martial arts cultural industry. Judging from today's perspective, the influence and contribution of "Shaolin Temple" to my country's martial arts cultural industry are still unduplicated and difficult to surpass.
Driven by martial arts films and television, the combination of martial arts culture and modern media has gradually formed a diversified industrial form: the publishing of martial arts books and martial arts magazines, martial arts movies, TV series, music, and martial arts animations. , comics, martial arts online games, martial arts schools and martial arts tourism industries have all formed a considerable scale. The publication and dissemination of Jin Yong's martial arts novels alone have generated an output value of more than 5 billion yuan, and Jin Yong's own brand value is even more inestimable; martial arts film and television dramas are the mainstream of my country's genre film and television dramas, from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" to "Heroes" ", to "Shaolin Football" and "Kung Fu", the output value of martial arts movies and TV series is more than 1 billion yuan every year; the animation and comic industries have just emerged and have great potential; in addition, martial arts online games are growing rapidly, forming The annual scale is more than 10 billion yuan; martial arts schools are blooming all over the country, generating an output value of hundreds of millions. Now it seems that the annual output value of the martial arts industry is tens of billions, so a new term "martial arts cultural industry" came into being.
For thousands of years, Beizong Shaolin and Nanzun Wudang, known as the Beidou in the rivers and lakes, have been doing their part. They are one Buddha, one hard and one soft, or they use Zen to enter. Martial arts, broad and profound, or enlightening boxing with Tao, profound and mysterious, have become representatives of external and internal martial arts in Chinese martial arts, leading the trend of my country's martial arts cultural industry.
1. The development of Shaolin and Wudang martial arts cultural industries
In the 1980s, the Shaolin Temple was in ruins. There were more than a dozen monks in the temple, 9 of whom were elderly, living on 28 acres of land. . After more than 20 years of development, Shaolin Temple has formed a brand portfolio in eight aspects: "Buddha", "Temple", "Monk", "Compassion", "Zen", "Martial Arts", "Art" and "Journal". His businesses include Zen Dew Magazine, Shaolin Film and Television Company, Shaolin Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Shaolin Temple Monk Corps, etc. Moreover, Shaolin Temple established the Songshan Shaolin Tourism Group in April 2007 to implement unified management and market-oriented operations for all scenic spots in the Songshan Scenic Area. In addition, Shaolin Tourism Group also plans to package and list projects including ropeways, dynamic movies, hotels (hotels), and tourist fleets. All this stems from a series of clever industrial operations of Shaolin Temple.
When Shaolin Kung Fu was surging, "Shaolin cars," "Shaolin security doors," "Shaolin ham sausages," "Shaolin ink," and "Shaolin glue" were as close to home as they were in Europe and the United States. Various organizations have sprung up in countries and regions such as Japan, Japan, etc. under the banner of "Shaolin Temple". In order to protect the "Shaolin" brand, Shaolin Temple established "Shaolin Industrial Development Co., Ltd." in 1997. After that, Shaolin Temple successively launched a series of Shaolin foods such as "Shaolin Plain Cake" and "Shaolin Desserts". However, these do not seem to be the expertise of the Shaolin Temple, and they are not directly related to the martial arts myth in the eyes of the public. Therefore, the Shaolin Temple established the Shaolin Temple Cultural Communication Company to develop the Shaolin brand as a whole, promote the Zen, martial arts, and medical culture of the Shaolin Temple, and in specific Technical guidance was provided during the application. Since then, Shaolin Temple has been pushed to the forefront of the stage time and time again.
In 2004, the Shaolin Temple published medicine and martial arts secrets on the Internet, which triggered a great discussion in the martial arts community, the medical community and all walks of life, and focused the public's attention on the Shaolin Temple.
In October 2005, the original dance drama "Shaolin in the Wind" jointly choreographed by Shaolin Temple and Zhengzhou Song and Dance Theater debuted at the Poly Theater in Beijing. Subsequently, the show reached an agreement with the American Blue Mark Entertainment Group. "Shaolin in the Wind" will be performed in the United States for two years, about 800 performances, and the performance income is expected to reach 8 million US dollars. This magnificent performance, as a product discovery, once again adds luster to the brand of Shaolin Temple. In the same year, with the authorization of Shaolin Temple, the 3D online game "Legend of Shaolin" developed by Wanku Technology Company was officially put into operation. Immediately afterwards, the animation "Legend of Shaolin" with the same name as the online game was launched. That year, it was broadcast on TV stations in more than 20 countries and regions overseas, as well as in Taiwan, Shanghai and other places, and its ratings were among the best many times. This not only reaps economic benefits, but also promotes the Shaolin spirit.
At the end of March 2006, the "Chinese Kung Fu Star TV Competition" co-sponsored by Shaolin Temple and Shenzhen Satellite TV was officially launched. This format is similar to the "Super Girl" TV talent show, with six domestic divisions in Shenzhen, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Shenyang, Chengdu, and Shanghai, and six international divisions in the United States, Germany, Russia, Italy, France, and Australia. On a global scale, 108 heroes were selected from the contestants through the evaluation of multiple qualities in "morality, martial arts, and art." The "Kung Fu Stars" selected by the competition will star in the Shaolin Kung Fu epic TV series "The Legend of Shaolin Temple" and a series of other film and television works with "Chinese Kung Fu" as the background, and will appear in the Hollywood film series "New Shaolin Temple" Play a role. At the same time, the competition also carried out mysterious activities such as "seed contestants practicing in retreat in Shaolin Temple" and "showdown with 18 Arhats of Shaolin Temple", which attracted the attention of martial arts enthusiasts around the world.
In addition to the "Chinese Kung Fu Star TV Competition", in 2006, exciting events about the Shaolin Temple continued to take place. 500 American Shaolin lay disciples from the United States United Martial Arts Hall held a pilgrimage ceremony in front of the thousand-year-old Shaolin Temple. Miss Tourism of the World visited the Shaolin Temple and competed with the Shaolin Temple monks. Beauty and monk, these two keywords are irresistible. Don't pay attention; "Shaolin Zen" was held grandly in the Shaolin Temple Zen Hall in September; "Martial Arts Style? Legend of Shaolin Temple", sponsored by Henan TV and Japan's largest private TV organization Fuji TV, and hosted by Beijing Asia Sports and Culture Exchange Center, toured Japan The departure ceremony was also held grandly in front of the Shaolin Temple... Even Russian President Vladimir Putin came to the Shaolin Temple because of its fame. After his personal bodyguards competed with Shaolin monks on the same stage, Putin himself was eager to try. After many efforts to dissuade him, but to no avail, he killed a young monk. Carrying it on your shoulders, Shaolin Temple has infinite scenery.
In 2007, Shaolin Temple once again attracted media attention. In April, the live performance of the Zen Music Ceremony "Zen Shaolin" produced by the famous musician Tan Dun at a cost of 350 million yuan was officially staged and received constant praise; in May, the Shaolin Temple held the ceremony for the second time in 300 years to be ordained. After 28 years, After Tian's ordination, 600 Buddhists from all over the country entered Buddhism in the Shaolin Temple and became official monks. In July, the Shaolin Temple Monk Performance Troupe went to Japan to perform.
In 2008, Shaolin Temple is still the focus of people's attention. A TV series "Legend of Shaolin Temple" fascinated people, constantly breaking ratings records, and was praised by the media as the 2008 ratings champion. In November of the same year, Shaolin Temple signed an agreement with government officials of Guandu District, Kunming City: Shaolin Temple will host four temples in Guandu for 20 years. , during the trusteeship period, the 18 Shaolin Arhats of Yunnan were cultivated on the spot, and the Shaolin Temple once again became famous all over the world...
The high frequency of exposure has won high visibility, which has also brought huge economic benefits. Among them is the martial arts school industry. Dengfeng City, Henan Province, where the Shaolin Temple is located, is the largest martial arts city in the world. As of 2005, with the Shaolin Temple as the core, there were 83 martial arts schools of various sizes distributed in the urban area, with 50,000 students. Perhaps the most famous among them is Tagou Martial Arts School, known as the "No. 1 Martial Arts School in the World", with 15,000 students and the birth of 215 national champions and 95 international champions. The booming martial arts industry has effectively promoted the development of related industries.
The Dengfeng Sports Bureau once made statistics and found that the 50,000 students in Dengfeng are basically outsiders, and the consumption they drive alone is an astronomical figure. Kung Fu is taught by Shaolin monks and usually lasts for 5 years. Tuition fees and living expenses depend on the age and circumstances of the students. Taking a 10-year-old boy as an example, the annual cost is about 13,800 yuan. The fees for overseas students are twice as high as domestic students, and they are equipped with special translators. According to incomplete statistics, in 2005, martial arts schools directly earned 500 million yuan.
Along with martial arts schools, there is also a rich and colorful martial arts performance industry. Since the 1980s, Shaolin martial arts has entered the markets of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States in the form of folk performances in temples, taking the step of internationalizing the Shaolin martial arts performing arts industry. In 1995, Shaolin Wushu entered the Golden Hall in Vienna and toured Western Europe; in 1996, Shaolin Wushu was performed at the Royal Theater in the United Kingdom. Since 2000, Shaolin martial arts performances have become more and more artistic and industrialized. The martial arts performing arts market has expanded rapidly and gradually developed to East Asia, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America, Australia and other places, covering more than 100 countries and regions around the world. . With the expansion of the performance area, the scale of Dengfeng martial arts performing arts groups continues to grow, with the number rapidly increasing from 23 in 2002 to 72 in 2007, an increase of more than three times; the number of performers in 2007 reached 2,800, which was the same as in 2002. Compared to more than 4 times. In 2005, various martial arts gyms and schools performed more than 8,000 Shaolin martial arts performances for Chinese and foreign tourists, received 300,000 tourists, and generated more than 7 million yuan in revenue. In the first half of 2007 alone, all performing arts groups in Dengfeng City have performed a total of 2,500 performances, exceeding the total number of performances in 2005, achieving economic benefits of 23 million yuan
Shaolin's martial arts culture not only produces its own The huge economic value also injects vitality into the local economic development. Shaolin Kung Fu attracts a large number of tourists. According to ticket statistics, the total number of Shaolin tourists from 1974 to 1978 was about 200,000. By 1982, the number of tourists in Shaolin Temple reached more than 700,000. In 1984, it reached the historical peak of 2.6 million. After the 1990s, the number of tourists has basically stabilized at around 1.5 million per year, while the Shaolin Scenic Area is based on admission tickets. The owner's direct income is as high as 120 million yuan a year. The rapidly developing martial arts industry has created comprehensive social benefits of 2 billion yuan for Dengfeng every year, and the martial arts industry has accounted for about 10% of the total economic output. The tertiary industry, led by the martial arts industry, has become a pillar industry of Dengfeng's economy, with revenue accounting for 1/3 of the city's GDP. At the same time, the brand effect and cultural promotion function of Shaolin Wushu have become a strong glue for Dengfeng to attract foreign investment. By holding previous Shaolin Wushu Festivals and the first World Traditional Wushu Festival, Dengfeng has introduced more than 5 billion yuan in funds and introduced more than 300 projects. , with a total economic and trade turnover of more than 10 billion yuan.
Shaolin Temple closely adheres to its core products of Zen and martial arts, drives culture through business, and turns each product into a serialized industry through forms such as dance dramas, monk tours, kung fu competitions, and music ceremonies. .
Corresponding to "Shaolin Temple", there was a movie "Wu-Tang" a few years later. Unfortunately, "Wu-Tang" did not give the Wu-Tang Sect a chance to stand out from their peers. However, this does not prevent Wudang, which is also a famous sect, from developing the martial arts industry. In 1987, Wudang held the first martial arts competition, which had a huge impact and attracted 210,000 visitors. Later, Wudang Mountain hosted the "Wudang Quan International Friendship Conference", "China Wudang Cultural Martial Arts Festival", "Wudang Mountain Martial Arts Arena", "Wudang Quan International Exchange Conference", "Wudang Quan Gong Theory and Method Seminar" and other martial arts Competitions and seminars made Wudang martial arts famous all over the world. In the mid-to-late 1990s, there were 18 martial arts schools in the Wudang Mountain Tourism Special Economic Zone alone, with nearly 10,000 students. However, later, due to various reasons, martial arts schools closed down or moved away. As of 2007, there were only 9 martial arts schools in Shiyan City with less than 2,000 students; the largest martial arts school had only more than 400 students, and the smallest only had a few students. The resulting industrial value can be imagined.
At the same time, without a strong operating team to jointly control with the government, the road to industrialization of Wudang was not smooth. In 1996, the Wudang Mountain Cultural Relics Department rented the right to use the Yuzhen Palace to the "Chen Kui Film and Television Martial Arts School" without authorization. As a result, in 2003 A fire destroyed Yuzhen Palace. In 2002, the Wudang Mountain Management Office signed the "Wudang Mountain Yuanhe Temple Lease Contract" with Taihe Martial Arts School. Later, Wudang Mountain Fuzhen Temple was built into a three-star hotel.
In this situation of internal and external troubles, Wudang began to integrate resources, while inheriting traditional martial arts, it also continued to explore the road to modern industry.
In 2003, the Chinese Wudang Kung Fu Art Troupe was formed and visited various countries in Southeast Asia and Western Europe. It performed specially in the "Wudang Martial Arts" event held in Hong Kong and in the "Wudang Style" in Macau to celebrate the third anniversary of the return of China. Performed special performances, toured in Taiwan's Wudang Martial Arts Cultural Exchange, and participated in the launch ceremony of the Chinese Kung Fu Star.
In 2004, Wudang introduced the "Wudang Qingming Sword Technique" from the Oscar-winning film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" to the Wudang Mountain performance; at the same time, it joined forces with the Longzhong Scenic Area to implement a joint promotion between powerful forces.
In 2005, Wudang unified martial arts school fees and created a good martial arts education environment; held the first Wudang Mountain Zhaobao Tai Chi Friendship Conference; launched the Wudang Mountain Tourism Multimedia Consulting System; created the stage play "Tai Chi Wudang" "; Wudang Mountain Taoist Martial Arts Music Troupe went to Taipei, my country to participate in the Cross-Strait Taoist Concert.
In 2006, 80 million was invested in rebuilding the Jade Dragon Palace... These not only promoted Wudang martial arts, but also attracted many tourists.
In 2007, the annual number of tourists in Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province exceeded one million, reaching 1.02 million. In the first quarter of 2009, Wudang Mountain received 288,000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 45%; and achieved tourism revenue of 109 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 69%. Especially during major festivals such as Guanyin’s birthday and March 3rd in March, Wudang Mountain receives an average of more than 10,000 tourists every day. The number of tourists in March is also the highest in a single month in Wudang Mountain’s history.
In 2006, the Wudang Special Zone also signed a contract with the Canadian Wudang Culture International Federation to create a large-scale stage play "Tao Xing Tian Xia" with the Wudang Kung Fu Art Troupe. After performing in Canada, it continued to tour Western Europe , which also enabled Wudang cultural industry to gradually form an industrial chain that is in line with international tourism.

2. Analysis of the reasons for the gap between Shaolin and Wudang martial arts cultural industries
Since ancient times, "Wudang Fist, Shaolin Kicks", "Wudang Sword, Shaolin Stick", Shaolin and Wudang, one in the south and one in the north, one soft and one strong, dominate the martial arts world. However, since the 21st century, Shaolin has taken pride in the world with its strong and fast power of fists, feet and sticks. , leaving Wudang, which once had a comparable status in the world, far behind. What is the reason?
1. Origin of the sect
Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of Chinese martial arts well-known at home and abroad. It was built in the 19th year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Shaolin martial arts is one of the earliest martial arts schools in my country. It is said that Shaolin martial arts was created by Seng Chou, a disciple of the Shaolin monk Batuo in the Northern Qi Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the crystallization of the experience of Shaolin monks for centuries of hard practice. It has been passed down from generation to generation. It is fascinating, alluring and admirable, and is well-known at home and abroad. , and gradually there is a saying that "the world's kung fu comes from Shaolin".
The Wudang Sect emerged in the Ming Dynasty and was founded by Zhang Sanfeng in Wudang Mountain, Hubei Province. It is known as the Wudang Sect. It is said that Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Wudang Neijiaquan, once saw a fight between a magpie and a snake when he was practicing in Wudang. "The magpie flew up and down, while the snake snaked its body and shook its head in a flash." This gave Zhang Sanfeng a great impression. After a great revelation, Zhang thus understood the wonderful principles of Tai Chi and created the unique style of Wudang boxing. However, in numerous martial arts novels, films and TV dramas, there is such a suggestion: Zhang Sanfeng was originally a disciple of Shaolin. He was expelled from the school for violating temple rules and later founded the Wudang Sect in Wudang Mountain, hence the name "Wudang". "Martial arts originated from Shaolin". There is no way to verify the authenticity of these legends, but they give the public a potential awareness: Shaolin is stronger than Wudang.
2. Thoughts of the leader
"Buddhism does not avoid the world. If Buddhism avoided the world, it would have destroyed itself long ago." Shi Yongxin, the 30th generation abbot of Shaolin Temple, said in "The Collection of Zen Dew" "Say this. It is also the strategic thinking of Shaolin Temple - entering into society, reaching out to the public, and advancing with the times. It is under the guidance of this idea that the "historical character" of Shaolin Temple is different from other temples. At the end of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the thirteen stick monks of Shaolin rescued the king of Tang Dynasty; during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Shaolin monk soldiers fought against Japanese pirates; during the Anti-Japanese War, Shaolin monks participated in the war to fight against the enemy; during the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, Shaolin Temple sent a monk rescue team to the Sichuan disaster area for rescue, taking the initiative to undertake the WTO and the responsibility of saving the world; in peacetime, the abbot of Shaolin Temple upheld the spirit of Shaolin people taking the initiative to join the world, and brought Shaolin Temple into the tide of "Kung Fu Economy", making Shaolin Temple develop from a dilapidated small temple into a world-famous brand image and A large temple with double economic benefits.
However, when people mention Shaolin Temple, their first impression is Shaolin Kung Fu. Shi Yongxin said: "The movie "Shaolin Temple" is like a big advertisement for the Shaolin Temple." However, the Shaolin Temple products represented by this advertisement are too single and even superficial. Shi Yongxin was not willing to limit martial arts to just "skills". He also proposed the concept of martial arts Zen, "I want to elevate Shaolin culture to the level of 'study' and become an 'explicit study' like 'Orientalism'." '". To this end, Abbot Yongxin has established cooperative research relationships with dozens of universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Renmin University. In this way, Shaolin Temple culture can be well discovered and spread.
It is true that if we regard Shaolin Temple as a product and only stay on the surface, we will not be able to expand the consumer base. Therefore, it is necessary to break the conventional framework, greatly explore its connotation, and form the industrialization of Shaolin martial arts and Buddhist culture. It was under the guidance of this operating concept that Shi Yongxin carried out a series of large-scale operations. In 1996, when many companies were still unaware of the Internet, Shaolin Temple built a website. Now, Shi Yongxin owns almost all modern communication equipment: laptop computers, digital cameras, and fashionable mobile phones (it is said that he can send text messages very well). He said, "The Internet is developing rapidly. If Shaolin Temple cannot make good use of this new way of communication, it will become farther and farther away from the world."
Then Shi Yongxin presided over the creation of China's first digital The temple recruits Shaolin disciples from all over the world and publishes Shaolin's unique skills online; under the leadership of Shi Yongxin, the Shaolin Temple's performances and public event marketing include "Shaolin Martial Arts" performed by monks around the world, and the "Shaolin Returning Ceremony" of traditional martial arts festivals. , Red Cross fund-raising, student care and release, Shaolin Foundation, etc.; at the same time, Shaolin Temple also founded the magazine "Zen Lu" and joined forces with major universities to advocate "Shaolin Studies" with the same status as "Red Studies". Shaolin Temple began to slowly move away from single martial arts and move towards diversified industrialization. Therefore, in 2002, the TV film "New Shaolin Abbot" filmed by the American Discovery Channel for Shi Yongxin was translated as "New Shaolin CEO".
In 2003, Shi Yongxin moved the China Internet News Promotion Summit Forum to the Sutra Pavilion of the ancient hall of Shaolin Temple; in 2005, the Shaolin Temple website launched "Martial Arts Secrets" and "Shaolin Pharmacy". In 2006, Shi Yongxin helped 500 martial arts enthusiasts from the United States to worship the Shaolin Temple at one time; in March 2006, he helped Russian President Vladimir Putin visit the Shaolin Temple. In 2008, he signed an agreement with government officials in Guandu District, Kunming City: Shaolin Temple will host four temples in Guandu for 20 years. During the trusteeship period, 18 Shaolin Arhats from Yunnan were trained on the spot. These are not things that ordinary people can do, but Shi Yongxin did it. These practices that keep pace with the times have brought Shaolin Temple to the forefront of world public opinion time and time again, and the brand of Shaolin Temple has grown even more.
In addition, as the abbot of Shaolin Temple, a world-famous kung fu holy place, Shi Yongxin actually plays multiple roles. In addition to being the youngest abbot in the 1,500-year history of Shaolin Temple, he is also a representative of the 9th and 10th National People's Congress, vice president of the Chinese Buddhist Association and president of the Henan Buddhist Association. These positions can enable Shi Yongxin to participate more in various activities, which can not only increase his own brand awareness, but also take advantage of the situation to promote the Shaolin brand.
In comparison, Wudang is much calmer.
Wudang Taoists have always been afraid that the mountains are not high or deep. Wudang leader You Xuande said that Wudang activities have always been based on the purpose of "pure religion, pure martial arts, and pure academics", so the Wudang sect has rarely engaged in commercial activities. The teaching of Wudang Kung Fu still adheres to the principle of "it is better to be lost than to be passed on indiscriminately". Taoist Master You Xuande, the head of the Wudang Sect, once admitted that he did not know how to surf the Internet. Interestingly, during a competition initiated by Wudang in 2002 between the three sects of Shaolin, Wudang, and Emei in Leshan, Sichuan, Wudang leader You Xuande, who has always been quiet, announced to the outside world that the Wudang sect had inherited the Golden Needle Finger and Subduing the Dragon. Eighteen Turns of Palms, this may be Wudang's helpless choice in the face of commercial society.
3. Conclusion
So not only do some people ask whether Shaolin can always be far ahead, but the thousand-year-old Wudang cannot get out of the slump and show its former glory as a martial arts leader?
In fact, the backwardness of the Wudang martial arts cultural industry also has its specific era reasons. The industrialization of Tai Chi does not meet two basic conditions. One is an overwhelmingly superior boxing system and first-class boxing artists; There is no one who can be regarded as the "contemporary Tai Chi representative" in terms of morality, skills and performance. In fact, Tai Chi has many advantages over Shaolin Boxing. Especially in modern society, it is very adaptable. However, its publicity is too biased towards the physical fitness function of Tai Chi, and greatly ignores the martial arts function, especially Tai Chi Sanda, which makes Tai Chi become Tai Chi exercise, causing large-scale misunderstandings in society. It should be understood that the dragon head is made by "beating". Only by comparing martial arts and competing with martial arts can one achieve the dominant influence. Wudang martial arts still lacks leaders with "everyone's style", but the emergence of such people is neither the result of hard work nor coordination, but the result of the times. Furthermore, the management system is not smooth, traditional martial arts are not explored and organized enough, there is a lack of development funds, and the publicity is too small.
Therefore, we can only formulate a development plan for Wudang Wushu, increase publicity, invite professionals to carefully package Wudang Wushu, improve its performance and practical capabilities, purify the martial arts market, support martial arts schools, and hold large-scale martial arts activities. , can promote the industrialization development of martial arts.
Of course, promoting Wudang culture and martial arts is not as simple as the article says. It requires the cooperation of smart businessmen and national governments, etc., but as long as you dig deep and develop it, it will develop into a multi-billion dollar business. Big industry is no exaggeration. We also have every reason to hope that on the road to industrialization of martial arts, Wudang will have a sword dance that will dominate the world.
But what we hope to see is not Shaolin or Wudang alone, because the extensive and profound Chinese martial arts cannot be covered by Shaolin or Wudang. It should be centered around the core sects and drive related sects, which will eventually The entire martial arts cultural industry becomes bigger and stronger.
