How to improve the class's academic performance
It is very important to form a positive, hardworking, United and harmonious group. Only in a good class group can teachers carry out education and teaching activities to achieve better results. In terms of cultivating harmonious class groups, I mainly start from the following aspects this semester:
(A brief review of class management this semester
(1) Grab a main line. This main line is the construction of class style and study style. From the beginning of the first grade, the construction of class spirit pays attention to students' discipline and strengthens their sense of discipline. The construction of study style strives to correct students' learning attitude, guide students to realize the importance of studying hard and diligently, and at the same time create an atmosphere of class learning competition to overcome students' inertia to the maximum extent. On the one hand, it is mainly to find incentive factors to play a positive incentive role for students.
Of course, I often use the method of goal motivation to guide students to have clear academic achievement goals in order to tap students' learning potential.
(2) Starting from cultivating students' sense of class collective honor and establishing class cohesion, carry out students' ideological education and organize class activities.
(3) Grasp the key points of the three stages of the whole semester. In my opinion, the class management of the whole semester or even the whole school year must win at the starting line. This semester is the starting line. I guide students to love the school, the class and being a teacher, and pay attention to let students develop good study discipline and living habits, so that students can quickly devote themselves to the study life of junior high school with a brand-new self. In the mid-term stage, the goal is to test the results of the mid-term exam, mobilize before the exam, summarize and reflect after the exam, and let students understand that the real significance of the mid-term exam is not the number of scores, but to find out the advantages and disadvantages of their study in this half semester, understand what to do in the second half of the semester, and guide students how to do a good job in the final exam at the final stage. Some students in the class didn't do well in the midterm exam. These three weeks are at a special stage in the second half of the semester. The joy and pain of the mid-term exam are almost forgotten, the final exam has not followed closely, and there are many school activities. I explained to my classmates the importance of these three weeks, which can be said to be an important stage that determines the success or failure of the final exam for students and classes. We must take the time to study and review. Third, pay attention to the summary and analysis of unit test results and keep in touch with teachers and parents in time.
(B) my thinking and understanding of the work of the class teacher.
(1) Do a good job in students' ideological work from high to low. The so-called "high" means that the work of the class teacher should be high, that is, to cultivate students into aspiring young people with ideals and pursuits, to guide students to pursue their own physiological dreams and lofty aspirations, and to do something for the country and society. Senior high school students are an important period to establish ideals and determine life goals. With ideals and pursuits, students will have inexhaustible motivation to learn, and they will not be afraid of studying hard and will not be tired of learning. I remember that the first topic of my class teacher's speech at the beginning of this semester was to talk to the students about their life ideals. The students listened carefully. Many students nodded silently and praised some of my views, as if they understood the life ideal that high school students should have. The so-called "low" is to guide students to face the reality around the ideal goal of life and realize it in a down-to-earth manner. For a junior high school student, this "low" should be to study hard in junior high school for three years, do well in every course, do well in every homework and so on.
(2) Grasp the students' academic achievements from the outside to the inside. Improving students' grades is one of the goals of our class teacher. In my opinion, it is a good strategy to do well in the grades of class students. The so-called "outside", first do a good job in the external conditions that are conducive to the improvement of class students' grades, such as class spirit, style of study, discipline, hygiene, and so on. The whole class is in a normal and good running state, and then we can cut into the core of the class, that is, how to improve the overall performance of the class to individuals. Obviously, the work of class style, study style, hygiene and discipline has been done well, and the improvement of grades is an inevitable result, which means that we should spend our energy on relevant external factors that are conducive to the improvement of grades.
(3) Focus on the class style and study style from the big picture. Class style is the key to the rise and fall of a class. We can all realize the importance of the construction of class spirit and style of study. It is the focus of our work to do a good job in the construction of class style and study style, but how to build a good class with positive class style and strong study style is worth thinking about. From my work practice, I realized the importance and effectiveness of starting from a small place, which is the details in class management. That is to say, after our head teacher determines the big goals, we should do the small things in the class one by one and handle the details in class management well. There are many details in class management, such as how to clean up, how to implement personnel, the height of books on students' desks, posting notices on the walls, cleaning water dispensers, and handing in students' homework. Some education experts say that Excellence is a habit, and details determine success or failure. Indeed, details are too important in class management.
Teachers who used to be class teachers have this understanding: no class needs to be managed, and no class students are infallible. What should the class teacher do if the students make mistakes? In order to set an example, some class teachers hold on to the wrongdoers and "stimulate" students by humiliating them. As a result, the minds of students who make mistakes are seriously hurt, and it is difficult to raise their heads in a short time, or even never, which affects their learning and development. A philosopher said, "Human beings are constantly making progress through constant failures." I think: people improve themselves by constantly making mistakes and correcting them, and so do students. Therefore, as a class teacher, we should not take students' mistakes too seriously as unforgivable, but should guide students to face them correctly and correct them actively so as to avoid making similar mistakes again.
There is no fixed method for class management, but certain rules and regulations must be followed. I combine my own class management practice to let students live, study and grow happily in the group.
