Weather in Badong in 2007

I am the first Wuhan man to know Enshi.

Twenty years ago, Enshi Grand Canyon had not been discovered and developed. At that time, no Wuhan people went to Sumadang in Lichuan to buy a house for the summer, and there was no "iron bus" (railway, highway, medium-sized airport) in Enshi. Only one "3 18" national highway and one "Yun 8" small plane enter and leave Enshi.

At that time, China Huarong Company had just been established, and each province had set up an office named after the provincial capital. Hubei is called "Wuhan office", and the office is naturally in Wuhan. Huarong's function is to dispose of non-performing loans transferred by ICBC, which are found all over the province. I was arranged by the unit to dock Enshi's piece.

I became a frequent visitor to the "3 18" national highway and the "Yun 8" small plane.

First, take a bus.

In and out of Enshi all year round, the most used means of transportation is the bus. Wuhan Yichang section takes the Hanguang Expressway bus, which is fast, stable and safe. Take the long-distance sleeper in Enshi section of Yichang, the sleeper will arrive at night, and take the only famous "3 18" national road to enter and leave Enshi.

Although the section of "3 18" national highway from Yichang to Enshi is not in Sichuan, its "detour difficulty" is not inferior, with high mountains, long slopes and twists and turns. Sometimes you just pass a pass, followed by a steep downhill turn, and there is a car right in front of you, leaving or staying in an instant! Li Bai's "Difficult Road to Shu" is evidenced by a poem: "The sky is high and the cliff is one foot lower, and the pine is drooping, from the cliff surface. And send the thunder of rotating stones through 10 thousand valleys. " There is a danger on the "3 18" national road 20 kilometers away from Longtan ditch bridge in Lang Ping town, Changyang county. It makes a 360-degree turn and goes down 20 meters through the hanging hole, such as winding on the back of a snail, which is thrilling. 1in April, 984, our beloved comrade Hu Yaobang passed through this place on his way to Enshi, and deliberately got off. We can't guess what this great man is thinking at the moment, whether he is thinking about China's revolutionary road like this snail's back, or whether he is lamenting that life is too long.

I can't remember how many times I walked the "3 18" national road, but I still clearly remember that once I returned to Wuhan from Enshi, and got on the coach from Enshi to Xiangfan at Wuyangba Station (not called Xiangyang at that time), and I was going to get off at Yichang and then transfer to Hanguang Expressway to Wuhan. Drivers with experience in mountainous areas know that it is safer to drive at night in mountainous areas than during the day, because you can clearly see oncoming cars on mountain roads. The car shop stopped at Dazhiping Town for dinner, and each table had 10 people, with 25 yuan as the head. The driver's meal boss has other plans and it's free. The mountainous area is rich in potatoes, and no matter what dining table or mat Enshi has, potatoes are indispensable. After dinner, I got on the bus and was about to leave when a Henan man hurried in, driving more than 20 sheep. The Henan man wants to sell the sheep to Xiangfan and then transfer them to Henan. When the driver saw the business, he was full of joy and took money to hide and smoke. I want to know, where are the sheep? It won't be in the bus. Just thinking about it, I saw that the Henan people found a ladder to get on the bus, grabbed the sheep's hind legs in one hand and put them on the roof rack. They were busy and sweaty, but as soon as they put a sheep off the roof, the sheep under the car ran away. Henan people quickly got on the bus, too tired to even care about the head and tail. Getting on the sheep is getting slower and slower. Two hours passed and no one helped. People seem to care about the waiting time. I have important documents with me, because I put them in the car, and I dare not get off to help. It's getting late and it's getting dark. I want to entrust the driver with the file package, so that I can help the people of Henan. The driver promised to take care of the ID bag, so I quickly got off. "Boss, I'll watch the sheep for you, so you can get on the sheep." The Henan people gratefully replied, "Great, thank you." Henan people and I climbed the roof to count sheep and found that two sheep were missing. People in Henan were anxious, and Bazaar kept saying with tears that it was broken, lost and missed. I mobilized two young men to look around for about half an hour, and finally got the two sheep back, and the sleeping car began to move on. After getting on the bus, the boss in Henan told me that both husband and wife are laid-off workers. This time they came to Badong to sell sheep by themselves. The first two came together, but the mother-in-law was ill and the children had to go to school. There is only one person to sell sheep. The boss in Henan repeatedly asked for my phone number and said that I was a good man. I really received his blessing before the Spring Festival.

I am really happy and willing to do something useful. Although I am ordinary and unable to do some "good things", I still feel a little satisfied with helping the disadvantaged groups this time. I want to thank this laid-off worker from Henan for giving me this opportunity and making me vain!

Besides kindness, what else am I?

"3 18" national highway from Yichang to Enshi is a long road with frequent accidents, and traffic accidents can be seen almost every time. I've been through danger, too

On one occasion, I also went back to Wuhan from Enshi and took a long-distance sleeper in Enshi to Yichang. It was early winter. There was snow on the mountain and ice on the road. The driver tied the tire with a snow chain, and the car climbed a big uphill with great difficulty and drove to the highest place in Yesanguan Town with a grunt. Drivers who have used snow chains know that after the tires are fitted with snow chains, they drive slowly, the tires are broken, and so are the pants. It is a downhill slope of more than ten kilometers immediately. After the car went down the slope, the road was frozen again. The sleeping car rocked violently from side to side on the super-slippery ice road, waking all the passengers. A female passenger screamed "Ah! Mom! " I realize that there is a big problem, but I don't know what it is. My mind is nervous for a while and blank for a while. Thinking that my son is still young, I don't know where to go. At that time, although the long-distance sleeping car had a seat belt, it was very uncomfortable to lie down and wear it. Most people haven't worn it. Some seat belts are broken, and so is mine. Although I am particularly nervous, I know that the only thing I have to do is to hold on to the post. After a few minutes, the bus finally stopped, and I was relieved to find that my underwear was wet and my hands were not straight.

Walking under the car, I saw a bleak moon hanging in the night sky. Damn it, God bless me, I'm still alive! A man on a bus angrily scolded the driver for the way he was driving. The driver said that if there is no snow on the mountain, it is even more impossible to have snow under the mountain. Then we knew that there was snow at the foot of the mountain. After analysis, it may be that the road maintenance workers only sprinkled salt on the mountain, but not under the mountain. The temperature dropped again that day, and the roads under the mountain were frozen.

I didn't mean to blame drivers and road maintenance workers. Of course, they have many problems and reasons. I feel lucky to think of my young children and that I am still alive.

But I decided never to take this bus again tonight. There are two passengers who have the same idea as me. We decided to walk nearly ten kilometers to Yesanguan Town. At dawn, we found a hotel and lay in a warm quilt. I can't sleep. I just got up and ate something and fell asleep.

I'm a little scared after thinking about it. I really went that day. How should my young children and elderly mothers live? I'm afraid my relatives will worry. This is the first time I said it.

Second, fly.

At the beginning of 2000, at that time, Xujiaping Airport in Enshi was small in scale and had not been expanded, so it could only take off and land "Yun 8" small aircraft. Enshi is located in the mountainous area, and it is often foggy. Whether it can take off or land depends entirely on the weather. Experienced passengers often call friends in Enshi before taking off in Wuhan to ask about the weather in Enshi. Before Enshi flies to Wuhan, they will look in the direction of Xujiaping Airport to see if there are any clouds in the sky. This method is more accurate than the information released by the airport.

Enshi airport is small, with few flights every day, mainly to Wuhan. The airport staff are always there, and the people who fly are always familiar faces, mostly for business trips and meals. After a long time, they smiled at each other and nodded, indicating that they met you again.

The first time I took the "Yun 8" to Enshi was in the midsummer of 200 1. Shortly after the plane took off, I suddenly saw the cabin was white and foggy. I suddenly became nervous. Oh, there is no smell, and the passengers are not responding. That's weird. I asked the passenger next door, what's ... what's wrong with this? My neighbor told me that the plane opened the skylight and cold air came in to cool down and save fuel. Oh, so there is this wonderful thing.

The punctuality rate of Enshi route depends on the weather. I usually choose when things are not too urgent, but sometimes it is not allowed. It was in the spring of 2002, about 9 am. Before boarding the plane, I called a friend of Enshi ICBC. The weather is fine. The plane was on time and taxied for a while. Suddenly it was announced that the weather at Enshi airport had changed, and we went back to the terminal to wait for the order. At noon, we took off at 3 pm and flew for 50 minutes. We saw Enshi airport, and it was a little foggy. The plane circled once and the broadcast rang again.

After a day of tossing, some passengers clamored for a refund, and the airline gave them a refund, but the airport never announced the cancellation of the flight and kept explaining the weather. At 6: 30, a friend of Enshi ICBC called and said that the weather has improved now and there seems to be no cloud over the airport. Soon, the radio informed us to board the plane, and finally I arrived in Enshi at 8 pm.

Sometimes, patience is more important than results!

Third, become an Enshi person.

Enshi is the farthest city from Wuhan, and it takes 3 or 4 days to go back and forth. There is no expressway from Enshi to counties and cities, and it takes 6 or 7 hours to reach Hefeng County as far as possible. In those years, I spent about one-third of my time in Wuhan, Enshi and the road.

I have been running in Enshi, Wuhan for five or six years, and I don't even know where to work. People think I'm a local. The first sentence that Enshi people often encounter: Shaanxi *, followed by Wuhan is the same sentence. Enshi airport check-in and check-in people are also very familiar with it. They don't say hello like people at big airports, but say: Here we are, and the waiter at the national highway 3 18 also said: Here we are.

In those years, walking on the way to and from Enshi and closing my eyes, I can think of every turn on the "3 18" national highway, the smiling faces of airport staff and the old customers on the "Yun 8" plane;

In those years, I traveled all over the counties and cities in Enshi, gulping bacon, drinking corn wine in a big bowl, watching Tujia swing dance and listening to Six Bowls of Tea.

In those years, I asked about the livelihood of restructured enterprises, visited the sufferings of laid-off workers, and fought against the bad habit of "evading debts" to compete for the harvest of the state treasury.

Accustomed to the sour and spicy taste of residue, potato and common ear (houttuynia cordata Thunb.) root. ), I lost the aroma of coffee. Over the past six years, I have been walking on the way back and forth from Enshi, bumping all the way, dusty all the way, and properly becoming a mountaineer-short and straightforward, suffering from loss, being flustered by praise, doing things according to the rules, and not asking about the future.
