What are the customs during the slight cold?

Our local slight cold season is nothing special, just as usual, we can eat whatever we want.

There are many festivals here that talk about food, but there are no slight cold solar terms. For example, every family should eat jiaozi on New Year's Eve, which is the traditional custom of our Chinese nation. We also eat jiaozi on the fifth day of the first month every year, which is called "Breaking Five". On the fifteenth day of the first month of the Lantern Festival, you must eat Yuanxiao. Every year, on the second day of the second lunar month, every household will eat spring cakes, which are also called dragons looking up.

On the Dragon Boat Festival, we also call it Zongzi Festival. In memory of the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, we will eat zongzi on the Double Ninth Festival. In dog days, we will eat steamed buns in the north, and noodles in dog days, which is what we call steamed buns in our heads. During the solar term in beginning of autumn, there was a custom in the north, that is, every household would eat tofu brain on this day, so tofu brain sold quickly these days. It means that summer has passed and autumn has come.

On the solstice of winter, we are used to eating jiaozi in the north. I also know that southerners will eat glutinous rice balls on the solstice in winter. China has a large population and a vast territory. Different regions and nationalities have their own living habits, which should be respected and understood.
