How do parents teach their children to read?
One is to read through the fishing game. Parents make word cards into fish-shaped cards and teach their children to read. When the child is a little proficient in reading, he scatters the cards on the ground irregularly. Then every time parents read a word, let the children find this small fish accurately among a bunch of "small fish" and read it out loud. After children find out all the words their parents read, parents should give praise and encouragement, so that children can learn to know more words through fun and encouragement.
The second is to teach children to read by singing children's songs. Usually, children like catchy and rhythmic nursery rhymes. Parents can read nursery rhymes aloud to their children first to make them interested in this nursery rhyme, then write the nursery rhymes on a piece of paper and let the children read them out one by one with their parents' fingers. When they are proficient, children will unconsciously remember these words in their minds.
The third is to look at pictures and write. Find some colorful pictures related to Chinese characters that children like and let them know. Children first come into contact with pictures, and then slowly associate them with Chinese characters. Parents combine the above methods to train and exercise, then they will gradually increase the number of words they know.
The fourth is to teach children to read through life. When you take your children out and see the words on the shop plaque and the brand selling products, let them read them out loud, correct them in time, and take pains to teach them how to read, so that their children will know more and more words.
Fifth, children can read stories and read words. Now many parents have the habit of telling stories to their children. Because I was worried that my children wouldn't understand, I turned the language in the story book into popular spoken language. In fact, for children, there is no difference between written language and buzzwords, and the words are all fresh to them. There is no difference between "duckling listlessly walks to the river" and "duckling listlessly walks to the river" for children who have just studied. Therefore, parents might as well use "reading" stories instead of "telling" stories, and point to story books for their children to read word by word, so that children can know words in the process of listening to stories.
