How about girls studying interior design?
Hello, colleagues. Welcome to join our design team.
There is a lot to learn when entering the interior design industry. For girls to enter this industry, I would like to share my thoughts as a female designer.
I used to do interior design, and then I switched to comics. Because interior design is a very hard-working job, I later discovered that cartoonists are actually even more hard-working.
To be a good interior designer, you first need to: 1. Try to find your own creativity in traditional design routines at the beginning. All the creativity is on that more than 100 square meters. Just like some formulas are there, you have to play with them, and you will constantly modify the design during this period. Therefore, you need to have imagination and patience.
2. Learn to observe various house types.
Try to learn to follow the decoration team to the site to see and listen as much as possible, try to go to different house types, and interpret the best design you created in your notes, where is suitable for storage, where is suitable for lighting, and how to combine your Come up with your own design based on the customer's ideas. No matter what the house type is, start making a sketch in your mind as soon as you enter the site. Therefore, when going to the scene, you must learn to listen more, see more, and use your imagination.
3. Learn to understand various decoration materials, including their performance, functions, and prices.
As an interior designer, you must not only learn to draw design drawings, but also learn to make an evaluation of the final quotation, which must be shown to the client.
4. Learn Yangzhai Feng Shui
In fact, interior designers are also called Yangzhai Feng Shui masters. They not only want to make people live comfortably, but also make reasonable use of the feng shui layout in a house to help the client improve their luck. Even good designers can use the feng shui and design layout of the house to manage the client's mood. Therefore, a good designer must learn to read Feng Shui like a magic stick and be able to read a compass.
5. Division of labor among interior designers
Many people think that interior designers just sit in the office and work on design drawings. I don’t know if there are any interior design companies or decoration companies now. The division of labor is so detailed that it can be divided into: on-site design engineers and view designers. If so, you can choose the latter. In that case, most of them will just model a design plan based on data. The only disadvantage is that they often stay up late and make frequent revisions. plan. The former often goes to on-site inspections, and high heels and other items will become collections, because most of the places they go to are probably still under construction. My personal suggestion is that, little girl, you’d better learn both. The so-called skills are too many to overwhelm the body.
