Anji Tianhuangping – first experience of starry sky photography
Due to the closed environment of the school where the author is studying, the atmosphere of the entire school is very depressing. As a senior student, I may be in school for a month at a time. This is a problem for me, who is naturally free in love. Absolutely intolerable. I have had a dream to travel all over the country since I was a freshman. However, this dream was strangled in the cradle by the school. So far, I have only been to Qizanggou in Sichuan once to hike through it. There is no trace of man-made scenery there. The natural beauty really shocked the author deeply, and planted a seed of exploring nature in my heart. During our trip to Qizanggou, we chased the plateau snow-capped mountains, so let’s chase the stars this time. After checking the weather, locating the coordinates and preparing a strategy, I took the small SLR I bought three years ago and hit the road. After some selection and comparison, I chose Tianhuangping, Anji, which is closer to me.
Departing from Hangzhou East Bus Station, I took a bus for an hour and a half to Anji County. Compared to Lin'an County, where the author had stayed before, I was slightly shocked by the level of economic development in Anji. Of course, the consequence of economic development is that light pollution has become stronger. Later, the Milky Way cannot be captured by cameras until it rises into the sky. We replenished supplies in Anji County, had a cheese baked rice, and then hit the road.
Since I didn’t bring enough power banks and camera batteries, I didn’t take many photos on the road. There is bus No. 202 from Anji to Tianhuangping, but to get to my destination Jiangnan Tianchi, it takes an hour to drive on the winding mountain highway. There is no direct bus, so I took a Didi taxi from the county town and agreed that it would cost 100 yuan. The author sent me to Tianchi. Along the way, the driver enthusiastically introduced me to Anxi White Tea and other interesting places in Anxi. I was in such a happy mood that I even forgot to take pictures... I took a photo to feel the height of Tianchi halfway up the mountain...
Near 4 p.m., the author arrived at the gate of Jiangnan Tianchi, but found that the entrance fee actually cost 80 yuan, and the overnight camp fee was 60 yuan. The student party said it was simply unaffordable! give up! Go around and forward the existing locals from another path! It seems that there is a path to go up to Tianchi. After asking about the way, I went around to the mountain behind Tianchi. However...a wall was built on the mountain behind Tianchi, ruthlessly rejecting the author outside the wall. ok, fine, fortunately, the back mountain is a relatively large plain, so you can set up a tent before it gets dark, and after setting up the tent, have a self-heating hot pot,

and then ...It was only five o'clock. I took a look at the battery and signal of my mobile phone. I was surprised to find that the signal was full and the battery was still 80%. Wow, two kings came and I actually won, ho ho ho. The new season is about to start. Do you have anyone together...
After playing two games, it started to get dark. The author didn’t know when the Milky Way would rise until I met some other starry sky photography enthusiasts, so I Playing with the camera and taking a few random photos, only to find that you can't capture the Milky Way?
It was taken in my own small tent and on a hillside. The pixels of my mobile phone are not as good as those of my SLR.
I couldn’t see the Milky Way even after midnight. It was still very cold at night on the mountain at an altitude of 1,200 meters. I wrapped all the clothes I brought with me and it was still cold... I saw someone building a bonfire on the other side and went over to join in the fun. When I asked, they were all from Hangzhou. Haha, fellow villagers, I have found out what happened when I go down the mountain tomorrow. This group of guys is very interesting. Driving in the RV with their wives and children is very comfortable and warm. I took a few random photos. If you have limited skills, please don’t comment.

After drinking, I found out that my old friend had an RV with a small tent next to it. It was very artistic, so I took a photo with my mobile phone. The foreground of the subsequent photos was basically this RV. ...Haha, because it’s so spacious, it’s true that this RV is the only one that’s easy to photograph. I drank with my old friends until after one o'clock and then they went to bed, leaving me alone waiting for the Milky Way. When it was almost two o'clock, people began to go up the mountain one after another. These people were the real starry sky bosses. All kinds of expensive equipment, professional knowledge and apps, and... driving a domineering car to shoot for more than ten minutes made me, a poor student with a half-frame kit lens, messy in the wind. But fortunately, they were still very enthusiastic to introduce some knowledge to me, how to choose a location, how to see the time when the Milky Way rises, what equipment is needed...well, I can only listen and envy me, who says it's not better? The equipment is not good at shooting. If the shooting is not good, then there is still post-processing... Then, I discovered that I actually don’t know how to do post-processing either, haha. Below are some pictures taken directly from the phone. Honor v20 is said to be able to take photos of meteor showers. It can take pictures but the noise is impressive.

Although the noise is still indiscernible, it is much better compared to mobile phones. Then came the post-production experience of taking pictures for two hours and retouching them for a whole day. I spent the whole day today making this picture, please don’t criticize me.
In general, this star-chasing trip to Anji Tianhuangping was very enjoyable. I also took some photos that satisfied me as a newcomer. I met interesting and enthusiastic old friends and pretended to be photography experts. I taught them how to use the professional mode of their mobile phones to take pictures of the starry sky. I have to say that the Huawei mate 20pro bathroom heater is really awesome.
