In The Romance of the Gods, who are Jiang Ziya’s apprentices? What are their deeds?
In The Romance of the Gods, to be specific, Jiang Ziya has not just one apprentice, but several.
The first one was the five little ghosts, who later became the Five-Way Gods.
At that time, Yuanshi Tianzun arranged for Jiang Ziya to go down the mountain to help the Ming Dynasty. Jiang Ziya left Kunlun Mountain and had nowhere to go, so he came to Chaoge City to seek refuge with his good brother Song Yiren.
Song Yiren arranged for Jiang Ziya to marry the 68-year-old Huanghua eldest daughter Ma as his wife.
One day, Jiang Ziya and Song Yiren were chatting in the back garden of his house. Jiang Ziya knew Feng Shui and saw that the back garden had good Feng Shui. If he built a building, it would bless his descendants with prosperity and wealth in the future.
Song Yiren said it was not that it could not be built, but that it was burned after being built.
Jiang Ziya let Song Yiren build it as he pleased, and he would supervise the work. Just help Song Yiren climb the rafters.
On the day when he went up to the beam, Jiang Ziya saw that the troublemakers were five little ghosts, so he accepted them as his disciples and asked them to go to Xiqi to listen to his orders.
Later, when Jiang Ziya was building the Conferred God Platform, these five little ghosts helped Jiang Ziya move the earth, and later they became the famous Five-Way Gods.
This is also what we often call the Five Ghost Transport.
The greatest deed of Jiang Ziya, the disciple of the Fifth Path God, was to help him build the Conferred God Platform.
The second one is Bukit.
Wu Ji was a woodcutter by the Weishui River. He saw Jiang Ziya fishing with a straight hook and laughed at him.
Jiang Ziya was not angry, but instead gave Wuji a fortune telling that Wuji would kill people if he went into the city to sell firewood.
Wu Ji was very angry, thinking that Jiang Ziya cursed him, and then left angrily.
When they arrived in the city, Wu Ji accidentally killed the king and prime minister of the army with a pole.
King Wen Jichang made a plot of land and imprisoned Wu Ji. Wu Ji was worried that his mother would not be taken care of at home, so he burst into tears. Later, San Yisheng saw that Wu Ji was pitiful and allowed him to go home and settle his mother before he was tortured.
After Buji arrived home, he saw his mother and told what happened. His mother advised him to find Jiang Ziya to save his life.
So Jiang Ziya accepted Bu Ji as his disciple and used the star-weary technique to change his life.
After Wu Ji changed his destiny, he followed Jiang Ziya to learn military tactics and martial arts. It wasn't until King Wen visited the wise man and saw Wu Ji again that he realized that Jiang Ziya had changed Wu Ji's life and asked him to predict that Wu Ji would die by throwing himself into a deep pool.
Through Wu Ji, Ji Chang knew that Jiang Ziya's life-changing skills were still higher than his own innate number, and he believed that Jiang Ziya was a great sage.
Later, Jiang Ziya became the Prime Minister of Xiqi, and his master was promoted high. Wu Ji also followed him and became General Xiqi, following Jiang Ziya in the north and south.
Wu Ji actually didn’t have any great achievements in Fengshen Yanyi. It’s not like Huang Tianhua who took the first step in defeating Zhou, nor like Nezha who had the lotus incarnation with three heads and eight arms, Wu Ji basically did everything. It's a small matter, and I can basically be on call and work hard without complaining.
After the Shang and Zhou wars, Wu Ji was awarded the title of General Wu De and enjoyed the wealth and honor in the world.
The third one is the dragon bearded tiger.
Dragon-bearded tiger originally practiced Taoism by the North Sea, but Shen Gongbao told him that eating Jiang Ziya's meat could extend his life for 10,000 years, so when Jiang Ziya passed by the Beihai, Long-bearded tiger wanted to eat Jiang Ziya.
But Jiang Ziya had already received instructions from Yuanshi Tianzun, so he threw the apricot-yellow flag in front of the dragon bearded tiger and said to him, as long as you can pick it up, I will let you eat me.
The dragon-bearded tiger naturally cannot hold up the apricot-yellow flag, so he worships Jiang Ziya as his teacher.
The main achievement of the Dragon Bearded Tiger is that it is good at throwing stones as big as millstones, and is a good siege player.
The original text describes the appearance of the dragon-bearded tiger: strange and strange appearance, with a big head and a long neck. The one-legged body just dances, and its eyes spit out golden light. Scales appeared on his body, and his hands looked like hook spears. Refined a strange technique and used it to make a powerful hand. But if you encounter a dragon, a bearded tiger, you will be injured even if you don't die.
The dragon-bearded tiger has one foot and bounces when walking. It has a big head and a long neck, like a dragon and a tiger.
Later, in the battle between Longxuhu and Wu Wenhua, he was nailed to a row of wood by Wu Wenhua.
Longxuhu was named the Nine Chou Star after his death.
These are the three apprentices that Jiang Ziya accepted. The five little ghosts became the Five-Way Gods, Wuji became the General of Martial Arts, and Longxuhu became the Nine Chou Star after his death.
