Where does China produce jade?

2. Nanyang Valley, Nanyang City
Dushan jade, also known as "Nanyang Jade", is produced in Dushan in the north of Nanyang City. It is one of the four famous jade in China. Dushan jade is hard and dense, delicate and soft, with transparent luster and various colors. There are six kinds of pigments, including green, white, yellow, purple, red and white, and 77 kinds of colors, which are the first-class raw materials for jade carving.

Huang Longyu, also known as Dragon and Huanglong Stone. High-quality gem-grade Huang Longyu is mainly produced in Xiaoheishan Nature Reserve in Longling County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province and the surrounding Supa River Basin. It is close to the origin of jadeite in Myanmar and belongs to the Yunnan-Myanmar gem metallogenic belt formed by the mutual extrusion of Eurasian plate and Indian Ocean plate.
