Why does the Buddha statue have to be opened?

Don't think too much, what you hear is superstition. Solemn icons of Buddha and Bodhisattva, whether gold, silver, copper, iron, wood carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, needle and thread weaving, pen and ink painting, are all Buddhas as long as they are imaged. By all sentient beings, respect and respect them. You should know that the interests of Buddhism should be sought from respect. If you regain a little respect, you will get a little benefit, eliminate a little sin and increase a little happiness. Opening the light is just equivalent to a ceremony, and there is a Buddha in my heart. In Buddhism, we don't have to open the light. In Buddhism, we worship the Buddha because of his virtue. Even if there is no Buddha, we can respect the virtue of Buddha. This image is to remind us, but of course it is better for the Buddha to open the light. It is best to have a formal Buddha opening.

As long as we embroider with respect, purity and sincerity, embroidering Buddha and bodhisattva is also a merit of sculpture. Just pay attention when embroidering: it doesn't matter if there is no special Buddhist temple. Don't embroider near the bedroom, kitchen or toilet. If the conditions at home are limited, you can embroider in the living room, cover it with a clean cloth when you don't embroider, or fold the embroidered cloth and put it on a high place after each embroidery. Wash your hands at least before each embroidery, rinse your mouth after eating meat dishes or cooking or burning meat dishes, and read "Southern Compassion Guanyin Bodhisattva" three times before each stitch. Disciples are not as good as Buddhism, so they can meditate in their hearts. I hope the Bodhisattva doesn't blame you. I hope that Xiu Xiang will repay all sentient beings in Buddhism and all sentient beings around you with this merit. May the bodhisattva be merciful and bless them, and save them, so that they can all live in the pure land. Embroidering the face and eyes of the Buddha statue is the last embroidery, because the eyes will be imaged after embroidery, so the face should be embroidered last.

If it is not convenient to support at home after embroidery, you can send it to a nearby temple for support. If there is no objection at home, it is ok to support it in the living room.
