China Arctic Pavilion Meteorological Museum, located on the Arctic Pavilion Mountain in Xuanwu District, Nanjing, is the first meteorological professional museum in China, which was completed in March 21.

The Arctic Pavilion has a long history of meteorology. Since Liu and Song Dynasties in the Southern Dynasties built the Tiantai, there have been several observation platforms, especially the Tiantai in Qin Dynasty in the early Ming Dynasty. In 1928, the government of the Republic of China built the Institute of Meteorology and Meteorological Observatory of Academia Sinica at the site of the ancient observatory, which is now the location of Jiangsu Meteorological Science and Technology Business Center. The history of observing clouds and measuring the sky in the Arctic Pavilion has lasted for thousands of years, and it is rich in profound meteorological and cultural connotations. In October 22, the Arctic Pavilion Meteorological Observatory was awarded a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. In March 21, the China Arctic Pavilion Meteorological Museum was completed.
