Why are the six feng shui cities?

The six geomantic cities in China are: Bagua City in Xinjiang, Kunming in Yunnan, Wenzhou in Zhejiang, Hengyang in Yancheng, Shenzhen in Guangdong and Beijing in the capital.

1, Bagua City, Yili, Xinjiang-Tekes

The first geomantic city was Bagua City in Xinjiang. There is a city built according to the Eight Diagrams in the upper reaches of Yili River, called Tex, also known as the Eight Diagrams City, which is based on the city park and radiates to the surrounding area. The Eight Diagrams City was founded on 1230 (Southern Song Dynasty) by Qiu Chuji, the founder of Longmen Taoism, at the invitation of Genghis Khan of Mongolia. 700 years later 1992, Qiu Chuji's descendants were also a master of Feng Shui. He rebuilt the city and became what it is now, which is an important historical symbol of China's study of urban Feng Shui.

2. Surrounded by the lake on three sides-Kunming

The second feng shui city is Kunming. The city is surrounded by lakes on three sides, mountains on all sides, and clouds around it. A poem written during the Qianlong period, "Five hundred miles of Dianchi Lake came to an end, and the towel was crushed. I am glad that the vast air force is boundless, winding in the north and high-speed in the south. Why not choose to win and climb the fence? " This is a poem written by a Taoist priest in Qing Dynasty. It says that Kunming's face is like a foal in the east, running like a fine horse. In the west, like a fart, waving a clever big bird. The north wind is like a long snake.

3. The mountain is like a big dipper and the city is like a lock-Wenzhou

The third feng shui city is Wenzhou, with mountains like Beidou and cities like locks. Wenzhou is the first Guo Pu designer to write a funeral book in China. During the Jin Dynasty, it was difficult to reach Wenzhou, and at the invitation of Wenzhou, it was established as the capital of Wenzhou. According to the geographical features of Wenzhou, it generally faces south, and the sun can shine in the south. There are Oujiang and nanxi river in Wenzhou. When he was building, he not only considered geomantic omen, but also considered the actual geological situation. Because the soil on the north shore of Wenzhou is soft, washed by wind and sand, and the foundation is unstable, he built the whole city in the south. Wenzhou is actually a city in the north and south, but he designed Wenzhou City according to all the mountains around Wenzhou, which are exactly in the shape of the Big Dipper. In memory of him, there is a Saigon Mountain in Wenzhou, which was later changed to Guogong Mountain. Now there are sculptures of Guo Pu in Wenzhou. He not only built the city, but also built 64 springs, 5 pools, 5 colors and 5 waters and adjusted the structure of the city. Wenzhou is relatively closed and built on the mountain. It is said that this can not only have good feng shui, but also avoid war disasters. Sure enough, there were two catastrophes, the first was (Lang Fang Uprising), but Wenzhou was besieged for 46 days, and finally withdrew. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Wenzhou, as a bridgehead and base area, survived the Japanese invasion, siege and land plunder. Wenzhou avoided war. Today, there are not many 64 springs, but 5 pools are still there.

Three outlets locked the river-Hengyang.

The fourth feng shui city is Hengyang. Hengyang is located in Long Mai, China, south of Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue, and is named after Shan Zhinan as "Yang". Because "the wild goose flies south, so far it stops flying back", it lives in Yan Hui Peak of Hengyang City, so it is nicknamed "Wild Goose City". Hengyang is located in the geographical center of southern China. It has always been an important town in Central South China, and now it is the second largest city in Hunan, with a built-up area of 1.20 square kilometers and a population of 1.52 million. It is a national old industrial base, a national historical and cultural city, the first batch of pilot cities for comprehensive reform of national service industry, an excellent tourist city in China, a memorial city in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, China, a key undertaking place for gradient transfer of processing trade in China, the largest transportation hub in South China, a commercial, financial and logistics center in Central South China and northern South China. Hengyang Mishima Shuikou locks the river. Hengyang is the location of Yan Hui Peak, the first peak of Mount Hengshan 72 in Nanyue, and Yan Hui Peak Scenic Area is located in the downtown area of Hengyang-Yanfeng District. Xiangjiang River, thunder water and positive water meet in the central city of Hengyang, so there is a saying that the estuary locks the river. There is a famous building in Hengyang, Shigu Academy, which is the first of the four major academies in China. It is located in Shigu Jiangshan, one of the eight scenic spots in Hengzhou. Shigu Jiangshan is a peninsula, a bit like Wenzhou, and a bit like Qingdao Zhanqiao, at sea. A pagoda named Laiyan Pagoda was built opposite Shigu Jiangshan. In fact, there was such a process in ancient geomantic omen. The first one was looking for dragons, the second one was acupuncturing, the third one was testing sand, the fourth one was asking about water, and the fifth one was phase cutting. It is divided into five directions, that is to say, if you find Long Mai according to the whole city, you must lock it after finding the hole, which is the lifeblood of the city. That is to say, some pagodas and buildings will be built at the position of Shuikou, and some very special things will be made to lock them up. Hengyang is special. The three pagodas (Laiyan Pagoda, Zhuhui Pagoda and Jielong Tower Pagoda) lock the three river eyes of Hengyang respectively, so Hengyang has become one of the most famous feng shui cities in China.

5. Lingnan geomantic treasure-Shenzhen

The fifth feng shui city is Shenzhen. Shenzhen has a good geomantic geography and is adjacent to Hong Kong. In the past 30 years, it has changed from a small fishing village to a treasure house. In 2024, Shenzhen will usher in greater development opportunities. With the rotation of the earth, Macao has been filled up, so there is no deep-water port in Macao. Yantian Port in Shenzhen and Victoria Bay in Hong Kong are both excellent deep-water ports with special geographical locations. Economic strength and urban construction can support it to go further. Geographically speaking, Macao is just for entertainment, while Shenzhen is a place where tourism, entertainment and industry go hand in hand. Shenzhen is located in the south-central part of Guangdong, bordering the Pearl River Estuary and Dapeng Bay in the east, the Pearl River in the west, separated from Hong Kong by a river in the south, Wutongshan in the north, Longteng in the northeast, Shekou and Shuikou in the southwest connected with Lantau Island, and the islands are in step, just like turtles descending to earth. It is a beautiful land of feng shui.

6. North China Fengshui City-Beijing

The sixth feng shui city is Beijing. Beijing is a very symmetrical urban complex, built around the Forbidden City, which lasted for hundreds of years in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, 1635 published the western part of the imperial city recorded in the Geological Survey. The tomb is deep, and autumn and winter make it look like a row of ancient tombs. At that time, there were dense pine forests around Beijing, and only one person could ride in one lane on the road. Dense mountain forests bring abundant water sources. Diaoyutai and Jinyuchi are spring waters all year round, and in many places, spring water gushes from underground. The east, west, north and south of Beijing are very clear. There are Xishan and Kunming Lake in the west, including Wanshou Mountain. Mountains and rivers are integrated, backed by mountains and rivers. The landforms of Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain just form a northwest-southeast flow direction. In order to achieve the goal of harmony between man and nature, the descendants of Zhu Yuanzhang built the Ming Tombs, the best place for geomantic omen in Beijing.
