1, Chunqiu
The Spring and Autumn Annals, also known as Lin Jing or Lin Shi, is one of the six Confucian classics in ancient China. It is also the national history of Lu in the Zhou Dynasty, and the existing version was revised by Confucius.
Spring and Autumn Annals is the first chronological history book in China, with a total of 35 volumes. It is one of the Confucian classics and the longest of the Thirteen Classics. It is listed as a classic in Sikuquanshu. It covers the period from 722 BC (the year of Luyin) to 468 BC (the 27th year of Lu Aigong).
2. Historical records
Historical Records is a biographical history book written by Sima Qian, a historian of the Western Han Dynasty. It is the first biographical general history in the history of China, recording the history of four years and more than 3,000 years from the legendary Huangdi era to Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty.
In the first year of Taichu (BC 104), Sima Qian began to create Taishi Gongshu, later called Shiji. It took 14 years before and after its completion.
The book Historical Records includes 12 biographies (records of emperors' political achievements in past dynasties), 30 aristocratic families (records of the rise and fall of princes and their nobles in vassal states and Han dynasties) and 70 biographies (records of important people's words and deeds, mainly describing characters and ministers, with the last one as the preface).

3. Purple Tongzhi scissors
Zi Tong Zhi Jian (often referred to as Tong Jian) is a multi-volume chronological history book edited by Sima Guang in the Northern Song Dynasty, with a total of 294 volumes, which took 19 years to complete.
Mainly based on time and events, it began in the 23rd year of Zhou Weilie (403 BC) and ended in the 6th year of Xiande, Zhou Shizong after the Five Dynasties (959 AD), covering the history of 16 dynasties and 1362 years.
In this book, the editor summed up many experiences and lessons for the rulers to learn from. Song Shenzong thinks that this book is "in view of the past, it has the resources for governance", that is, to strengthen the rule by taking historical gains and losses as a warning, so it is named "Managing with Capital".
4. History of the Three Kingdoms
The History of the Three Kingdoms, one of the twenty-four histories, was written by Chen Shou, a historian in the Western Jin Dynasty. It records the biographical national history of Wei, Shu and Wu during the Three Kingdoms period in China, and is one of the "first four histories" with the highest evaluation among the twenty-four histories.
At that time, there were historical records between Wei and Wu, such as Wei Lue, which was compiled by an official, and Wei Lue, which was written privately, and which was compiled by an official. These three books should be the basic materials for Chen Shou to stand on.
Shu has no official position in history, so it has only 15 volumes. However, the last book was written because of the official position. Therefore, the history of the Three Kingdoms is the product of cultural reintegration after the split of the Three Kingdoms.
The History of the Three Kingdoms was first circulated as a book and a book separately. It was not until the sixth year of Xianping in the Northern Song Dynasty (1003) that the three books were merged into one book.
5. Zuo Zhuan
Zuo Zhuan in the Spring and Autumn Period was originally named Zuo's Spring and Autumn Period, and it was also called Zuo's Spring and Autumn Period and Chunqiu Zhuan in the Han Dynasty, and it was called Zuo Zhuan only after the Han Dynasty.
According to legend, Zuo Zhuan is a historical book annotated by Zuo Qiuming, a native of Lu, at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. It is also called "Three Biographies of Spring and Autumn Period" together with Biography of Ram and Biography of Gu Liang. It is China's first detailed chronicle work and an outstanding masterpiece of historical prose.
