Can turtles survive in the sun?
The tortoise was killed by the sun and could not be resurrected.
The suitable temperature of soft-shelled turtle is 25 ~ 35℃. If the temperature continues to be higher than 40℃, turtles are likely to die of heatstroke. Therefore, breeders need to be careful not to expose turtles to the sun for a long time in hot summer. Once they die, they cannot be saved.
If the breeder finds out in time that the tortoise is not really dead, it is only a fake death, and it is possible to save it. You can put it in cold water and wait a few days until it wakes up. In addition, when the temperature is lower than 20℃, the tortoise will also enter a state of suspended animation.
Generally speaking, turtles should not bask in the sun for more than 2 hours, and should not bask in the sun at noon when the light is strongest. They should choose in the morning or afternoon. In summer, the sunshine is strong. In order to prevent the turtle from dying, the water level can be deepened appropriately, and the fish tank should not be placed in direct sunlight.
