According to official website, Liaoning Provincial People's Government, as of August 2023, Typhoon Du gradually approached the southeast coast of China on July 29th and landed near Beidaihe. The typhoon landed in Beidaihe, causing floods in the Daidong River, bringing bad weather such as strong winds, heavy rains and waves, which affected the local area.
