The handsome guy in the calligraphy class——Xiao Du

Over the past few years, my calligraphy training camp has had many outstanding students. They are so outstanding that I like and envy them. They are all other people's children in the eyes of their parents. Sometimes I also thought to myself, how wonderful it would be if this child were from my family.

I remember that a few years ago, I wrote an article "The Senior Cadre Class in the Calligraphy Class", which recorded that almost all of my classes were members of the school's Young Pioneers Brigade Committee, and they were basically all Coming from a school, you can imagine how awesome this class must be.

Among them, there is a little boy named Du Kejian, the youngest one. Although he is not a member of the Young Pioneers Brigade, he is also the monitor of the class. Now times have changed and they are already in middle school.

Last year, when he was still in the sixth grade of elementary school, he was named the National Outstanding Young Pioneer. This is not an ordinary honor, but a well-known national brand. Not everyone can get it. It is the only one among all the primary schools in Changping District, Beijing, which is enough to illustrate the level of excellence, right?

When Xiao Du first came to the calligraphy class, he was only in the second grade of elementary school, and he showed a very good learning status. Whether it was listening to classes or writing, he was extraordinary. Be quiet, focused, and attentive. If you don't write a word well, you must try it again until you are satisfied. My mother told me that this child is stubborn. Isn’t it good for me to say that this child is stubborn? Isn’t it worthy of encouragement and praise? It is exactly what many students do not possess.

Xiao Du’s writing habits have always been like this. His sitting posture in class is always upright. Whenever you look at him, he is the same dignified, upright, standard and role model existence. He is absolutely beautiful. Unless he was twisting and turning, he couldn't even see it. I used his example many times to promote in all classes, and also made a short video of his writing posture and posted it in the group for everyone to watch and learn. In this way, Xiao Du became a star student in the calligraphy class.

As for being a popular figure in school. The school specially set up a calligraphy column for him to display his calligraphy works. He often represents the school in various calligraphy competitions throughout the year. Sometimes I want him to write a piece of work for the calligraphy class but he doesn't even get ranked. Later, he squeezed out some time and wrote a four-foot-wide work for me at home.

Some time ago, his father wrote a couplet specially for my calligraphy class. The content of the couplet gave my calligraphy class a high reputation. Xiao Du specially wrote it in official script and gave it to me, which made me very happy and moved. This is the first time I received a special gift that parents and children worked together to create.

Now Xiao Du is almost growing up. Watching his growth process, I am really proud of having such a student. At the same time, I also hope that Xiao Du will be more academically diligent, more capable, more noble in character, and everything will be better in the future.
