Why is there so little history about the emperors of the Yuan Dynasty?

In the Yuan Dynasty, from 1206 to 1368, there were many written records except for a few monarchs, but the records left by later emperors were really few.

First, it has something to do with the customs of ancient Mongols. Most emperors after Kublai Khan delegated power to the prime minister, who was only responsible for eating and drinking, and chose beautiful women to accompany him all day.

The second reason is that Mongols do not attach importance to culture. Although Kublai Khan reopened the imperial examination, scholars, especially Han Chinese, could not hold important positions and their status was not high, so their culture was not prosperous. On the contrary, operas and novels flourish among the people without strict management.

Third, many historical materials about the Yuan Dynasty are not written in Chinese characters, and the characters have not been cracked, so many historical materials have yet to be interpreted.
