Concepts and principles of citizenship in the Russian Federation
The "residence permit" is a document for foreign citizens or stateless persons to stay in Russia for a long time and freely enter and leave Russia. For stateless people, the residence permit is also their identity document; "Foreign citizens legally residing in Russia" refers to foreign citizens who hold valid residence permits, temporary residence permits, visas or other residence (stay) certificates in Russia as stipulated by laws and international treaties of the Russian Federation; "Foreign citizens who temporarily stay in Russia" refers to foreign citizens who enter the country on the basis of visa or visa-free regulations and have no residence permit or temporary residence permit;
"Foreign citizens temporarily residing in Russia" refers to foreign citizens who have obtained temporary residence permits; "Foreign citizens living in Russia for a long time" refers to foreign citizens who have obtained residence permits; "Labor activities of foreign citizens" refers to the work (or services) completed by foreign citizens in the Russian Federation according to labor contracts or civil legal contracts;
