How does the geographical location of Northeast China affect the climate in Northeast China?

The northeast is located in the mid-latitude area, almost all of which are in the north temperate zone, in the northeast corner of the mainland. The climate is typical continental monsoon climate, with southeast wind in summer, northwest wind in winter and southwest wind in spring and autumn. In summer, warm and humid air from the Pacific brings abundant precipitation, and in winter, cold air from Siberia is cold and dry. The strong winds blowing from the southwest inland in spring and autumn are still dry, and there is dusty weather in early spring. Due to the low humidity and high solar radiation in Northeast China, it is still hot in summer. Changbai Mountain in the eastern region blocks the cold wind in the northwest, and the temperature is extremely low in winter, reaching more than 40 degrees below zero in mountainous areas.
