Names of three major aircraft carriers in China

As of June 17, 2022, China currently has three aircraft carriers.

The ship number 16 of the first aircraft carrier "Liaoning" was modified from the Ukrainian "Henglan".

"Shandong" ship is the first carrier ship number 17 independently developed and built in China. 20 17 was officially launched in Dalian on April 26th, and the sea trial was conducted on May 3rd, 20 18. 20 19 12 17 was officially delivered to the navy in sanya, Hainan.

The naming ceremony for launching China's third aircraft carrier was held at Jiangnan Shipyard of China Shipping Group Co., Ltd. on the morning of June, 2022 17. 1 1, the launching ceremony began, the national anthem of China people was played and the five-star red flag Ran Ran was raised. At the ceremony, the naming certificate was issued to the chief officer of the receiving unit, and the military and local leaders cut the ribbon for the launch of the third aircraft carrier in China.

After that, a bottle throwing ceremony was held. The champagne bottle hit the bow of the ship and was broken. Colorful ribbons were sprayed on both sides. The ship whistled, the dock door opened and the aircraft carrier slowly drove out of the dock. The launching naming ceremony ended with the military songs of China People's Liberation Army. With the approval of the Central Military Commission, China's third aircraft carrier was named "Fujian Ship of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy" with the ship number "18".
