Xiahe Pagoda was originally named Fotouyan Pagoda. Because it faces Xiahe Village across a good stream, it is also called Xiahe Tower. The building was built in the 13th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1585). The tower is an octagonal nine-level pavilion-style brick tower, which is surrounded by mountains and waters. The tower is built on mountain rocks. Granite masonry at the base. At the northwest of the ground floor, the coupon door is opened, and corner columns, foreheads and flat plates are hidden from the tower. Xiahe Tower is the only existing brick tower with pavilion-style building structure in Lishui city, which is a landmark ancient building in Lishui and an important symbol of the orientation of Lishui ancient city. In the 16th year of Qing Daoguang's reign (1836), the Buddha's Head Rock Pagoda was engraved in Lishui Zhi Manuscript, saying: "There are pagodas in Cangdong Mountain, which originated from Mr. Yu Fenggu in my hometown, and the desire of doctors and scholars in the county ..."
