What is nostalgia? How to express nostalgia in poetry?

The moon is the brightness of my hometown, and my hometown is the warm fragrance of rice and hemp. The overflowing fragrance will always ripple with the footsteps of my children; my hometown is the skyline; my hometown is the harbor of the soul, and it can be accepted by everyone regardless of wealth or poverty. My final destination.

Nostalgia is like a dream breaking the skyline, and nostalgia is like an inescapable net. From ancient times to the present, it has contained many wanderers’ affectionate associations and deep memories of their hometown.

With one word and one poem written by myself, I express my understanding of my hometown and nostalgia.

1. "Shui Tiao Ge Tou? Thinking of Hometown" (Longpu)

——The twelfth lunar month of Wuxu (Feigu)

After Xinghua Zhuyan, Thirty years of traveling to a foreign land;

Looking at the sky from my hometown, I feel the fragrance of rice and hemp.

In the dream, frogs are singing in early summer, the songs are flowing and fireflies are fanning,

There are flowers hidden in the corner of the courtyard.

Called several times late at night, the slanting moon enters Xuan Hall.

Tired character, strong and old-fashioned, with frost on the temples;

The green mountains are far away, and the homesickness is thousands of miles thick and foggy.

There are also green peaks to sit on and streams to accompany you while walking.

It is difficult but the mood is desolate.

Asking about the snow on the treetops, how many times has it been blue?

Notes:

Xinghua: Putian City, Fujian Province, was Xinghua Prefecture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Zhuyan: Ke Qian, the number one scholar in the second year of Ming Jingtai, is the author of "Zhuyan Collection".

Bamin: Another name for Fujian.

2. "Qilu? Long Memory of Red Osmanthus"

- Mid-Autumn Festival of 1898 (Fei Gu)

The shining toad light stretches out, and the thoughts follow the shadow of the bamboo Lu Ning Chun;

Last year we talked about Pansong East Alley, today we are riding the wind by Liu Beibin.

Recalling the three-point red osmanthus soul, a wisp of purple lotus liquid floats;

The secret fragrance stays in the heart and is always warm, and the autumn comes and returns, and it suddenly becomes real.

Notes:

Songdong: the name of the hometown.

Over the past thousands of years, literati have left behind many sincere and popular poems: there are magnificent words, fresh and meaningful poems, simple and plain language; full of rich and mellow dialogues. The longing for hometown expresses the melancholy of not being able to return to my hometown, and explains the eternal affection of a child. Therefore, it has touched the heartstrings of many readers and caused thousands of wanderers to scream.

Two nostalgic poems by our ancestor Ke Qian

1. "Qilu? Send Brother Hua off to Keshan"

——(Ming Dynasty) Ke Qian

The east wind blows the branches, and the love of officialdom and homesickness is both sad;

Who knows that sitting in the horse-drawn place is not like sitting in bed listening to the rain.

The ancestor's banquet was full of wine from the official market, and the luggage was full of Hanlin poems;

There was no money to send to my relatives for their birthdays, but only peace of mind to comfort Kunsi.

2. "Qilu? Spring Night Farewell Brother Zeyuan Returns to Keshan"

——(Ming Dynasty) Ke Qian

I am happy to see people from my hometown among the guests. Moreover, we are all closely related by flesh and blood;

Listening to the rain and spending the night together in the solitary house, looking at the flowers, I still remember the eight-pot spring.

You must be intoxicated with clear bottles of green wine, and don’t be tired of poverty with yellow rakes in earthenware urns;

Bright hair can see you thousands of miles away, and the miserable grass color returns to Tianjin.

Notes: Hugong Mountain: Fengshui Mountain of Hometown.

Ode from some poets in the past:

I miss my hometown so much,

The moon is bright in my hometown.

Traveling through thousands of mountains and rivers,

Returning home at the end of the year.
