The climate and landforms of Jiu Feng Township.

The landform is complex, with mountains, hills and flat dams interlaced. Located in the closed Sichuan basin, surrounded by high mountains, the low altitude in mid-latitude weakens the cold current from Siberia and Mongolia in the north, forming the characteristics of warm winter. The temperature is slightly higher than that in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River at the same latitude, and there is little snow. After the spring, the influence of the polar air mass in the north gradually weakened, and the warm current in the south moved northward and heated up rapidly. When the cold current in the north moves south, there is a rainfall process every 7 days or so, and there is a cold wave weather, which is called "late spring cold". In summer, the subtropical high in the western Pacific and the humid air flow in the Bay of Bengal take advantage of it, bringing a lot of warm air and abundant precipitation. If the cold and warm air is in a balanced and static state over the Yangtze River basin, it will cause rainy season in early summer and "Meiyu" weather. After that, when the Pacific subtropical high or the eastward moving Qinghai-Tibet subtropical high is out of control for a long time, it will be sunny and hot, and it will not rain for several days. In autumn, the subtropical high is weakened, the westerly circulation is strengthened, and the cold air in the north invades southward. "White dew" is prone to continuous autumn rain before and after the festival, and farmers call it "rotten white dew".
