Typhoon No. 9 "Nasa" in 2017 was generated in the northwest Pacific east of Luzon Island, Philippines at 11:00 noon on July 26. It strengthened into a severe tropical storm level at 11:00 noon on the 27th. It strengthened to typhoon level at 5 pm on the 29th and moved northwest. It made landfall on the eastern coast of Yilan, Taiwan at 7:40 pm on the 29th, and made landfall again on the coast of Fuqing, Fujian at 6 am on the 30th.

Typhoon No. 10 "Haitang" in 2017 was generated in the northern part of the South China Sea at 2 pm on July 28. It strengthened to typhoon level on the evening of the 28th and is expected to move northeast and northward on the 30th. After landing or passing over the western coast of Taiwan at night, it made landfall along the coast from Xiapu to Jinjiang, Fujian from the night of the 30th to the morning of the 31st.
