What is the throttle opening?

Throttle opening refers to the opening angle of engine throttle.

The connection between the accelerator pedal and the throttle of old cars is rigid, that is, the mechanical connection between the accelerator pedal and the throttle is driven by a pull rod or a cable, so the opening of the throttle completely depends on the position of the accelerator pedal, that is, the driver's operation intention. However, from the perspective of power and economy, the engine is not always in the best running state, and the driver's misoperation also brings hidden dangers to safety.

Electronic throttle system is widely used in modern cars. The driver manipulates the accelerator pedal, and the accelerator pedal position sensor generates the corresponding voltage signal and inputs it to the throttle control unit. The electronic throttle system includes:

1. Accelerator pedal module with accelerator pedal position sensor-used to determine the pedal position and transmit the pedal position signal to the control unit.
