Langzhong Ancient City is located next to Langzhong New City in Sichuan and on the bank of the Jialing River. It is as famous as Lijiang in Yunnan, Pingyao in Shanxi, and She County in Anhui, and is known as the four largest ancient cities in the country. The site of the ancient city is a typical example of the complete integration of nature and man in ancient Chinese city building site selection. The extreme maximum temperature is 39℃ and the minimum temperature is -4.6℃. The annual frost-free period is 290 days, the average annual sunshine is 1379.8 hours, and the average annual precipitation is 1033.9 mm.
