1. Topographic characteristics

The Taohongling Sika Deer Nature Reserve in Pengze County is the habitat of the rare wild animal sika deer, with more than 150 sika deer. There are 109 species of fish in Jiujiang. The rare fish include Chinese sturgeon, anchovy, whitebait, Pengze crucian carp, goby, etc. Chinese mitten crab is also one of the specialties.
