A study on the differences between Chinese and foreign geomantic culture
I don't know what people think of Feng Shui. I think it's definitely desirable for Feng Shui to exist in China for such a long time. I'm more curious about Feng Shui than I believe it. Because I think so many things in the world are unreasonable and unexplained, I don't want to deny them so quickly. Feng Shui is mysterious because it contains a lot of knowledge that modern people can't understand or agree with.
When it comes to feng shui, the first thing I think of is orientation and decoration. For example, this room should face south, the bed should be placed here, and the window should be opened in this position. Many people will find it unscientific to hear these statements based on the orientation of east, west, north and south, and some statements about gathering wealth or exorcising evil spirits. In fact, the setting of those directions is often related to the position of the sun and the house. These are actually architectural knowledge.
In addition, why do I say that there is a certain correlation between Feng Shui and psychology? In fact, many houses with bad feng shui are dark or airtight. There are problems in building decoration, which have an impact on people's psychological state. Living in a dark room for a long time will make people's psychological state worse and become suspicious. There is nothing wrong with living in this house. If you live for a long time, you will find something wrong.
Generally speaking, science is very different from China's Feng Shui, but there are some similarities, which are not completely insurmountable. As for whether modern science can explain the problem of geomantic omen, I think we may have to wait until science develops to a higher level before we can explain these mysterious things.
