What do you mean by fabushi?
Fa almsgiving, one of the three almsgivings, belongs to spiritual almsgiving, and it is the first almsgiving among all almsgivings, that is, to help others with our survival skills or Buddhist teachings we have learned to make them enlightened and conscious. After learning Buddhism, we will gain some experience and benefit from Buddhism more or less. We have benefited from it, so we have the responsibility to enlighten and help others and let people around us have the opportunity to contact Buddhism. This is the greatest charity. Because Buddhism can help all beings get rid of troubles and even life and death. "Pu Xian's Last Wish" said: "Among the offerings, Dharma is the most important." In other words, among all the offerings, helping others with Buddhism is the greatest merit.
Of all the alms, Febino is the highest. Give him wisdom, give him guidance, and light the torch of wisdom for him on his confused night. Among the methods of giving, the pure land method can be spread, encouraged and publicized, and it is the biggest method of giving. You say that people take advantage of the sky, but he is just lucky; When you say four dharmas, he is Duancheng. Only when it comes to pure land can he get the Buddha fruit of Mahayana and destroy it with the destruction of Tathagata. Beyond the samsara of the three realms, the Buddha and the fruit are complete. This is not comparable to other Buddhist practices, but unparalleled in Buddhist practice. As a result, his wealth is boundless.
Giving Buddhism means that no matter whether you know the knowledge, skills and insights in the world or whether you know the Buddhism in the world, if someone asks us for Buddhism, you should unconditionally and generously announce it. So this method of giving can develop wisdom. The more frugal people are, the more stupid they are, the more unconditionally they tell all beings what they know, and the more they can develop their wisdom. Because through what you say, you make the other person smart, others become smart, and if they are replaced, they will bounce back and make you smart. Your frugality makes people stupid. If you bounce back, you will be stupid. Only the Buddha can say these words. Therefore, this method of giving can capture the three degrees of intensive paramita, meditation paramita and prajna paramita.
In the Diamond Sutra, there are seven competitions to illustrate the merits of Fabushi. For example, "if a person gives away 3,000 treasures all over the world, it is a blessing to others ... if someone gets it back, it will even be rewarded in four sentences, saying that the blessing for others is better than him", or even "if there are good men and good women, they will be given in the body of Ganges sand on the first day, and in the second day of China and Japan." If someone comes back to hear this classic, his confidence will not be reversed, and his happiness will win him over, not to mention writing, accepting, reading and explaining to others.
The seven treasures of the three thousand world are not as good as the method of giving; Give the body the same amount of Ganges sand three times a day, or it is better to give it according to law. In addition, many Mahayana classics, such as Pu Xian's Wish, have repeatedly told us: "Dharma is the most important of all offerings."
If you don't realize the value of Prajna wisdom, you may find these metaphors too exaggerated and difficult to understand. When we truly realize the role of Buddhism in life, we will feel that no matter how metaphor. Because no matter how many treasures you give, even your life, all you get is external blessing, which is temporary and limited. Practicing Buddhism and guiding more people to practice Buddhism can help us transcend samsara and move towards liberation, which is the essence and ultimate improvement of life. What is more valuable is self-evident.
