As can be seen from the layout of May's tomb, what is Yongqi's identity?
Speaking of Aisingiorro Yongqi, thanks to various TV dramas of the Qing Dynasty in recent years, especially the hit drama Princess Zhu Huan in Summer Vacation, this May elder brother is a household name. As the protagonist, Brother May on the screen is charming and well-proportioned, and is very popular with Emperor Qianlong, even preferring to inherit the unification. The real brother May in history is even worse. The tomb of May Elder Brother Yongqi was found in Beijing Reservoir. The layout of the mausoleum shows the emperor's concern for him.
Aisingiorro Yongqi was born in Qianlong for six years. He was the fifth son of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Yongqi, the fifth brother, is a clever boy since he was a child, so he can learn to ask questions. As a prince, he learned a lot.
Besides the martial arts class of riding and archery, Brother Wu's cultural class is also very good. He studied Manchu, Chinese, Mongolian and other languages since childhood, and also dabbled in astronomy, geography, calendar calculation and other knowledge. Moreover, Mei is also interested in astronomical algorithms. Driven by interests, Mei's Eight-Line Method is very accurate, which is remarkable at that time and now. Such talented and unusual children are naturally more likely to get the preference of their parents. When that parent is the king of a country, there are many special expectations and values in this preference.
Yong Qi, Rong's fifth brother, grows up day by day, and his advantages are more prominent. He has been excellent since he was a child, and he is even more radiant when he grows up. He is good at calligraphy and painting, especially calligraphy, and he is very famous. There is also a copy of the remaining manuscript of Jiaotong University written by him, which has been passed down to future generations. This knowledgeable, intelligent and meaningful young man was greatly appreciated by Emperor Qianlong.
When Yongqi was twenty-two years old, something happened, which made him rise to the most valued position in Qianlong's heart. It was the summer of 1763. In the hot summer, the sun on earth was like fire. Emperors of all dynasties have their own special summer resorts, and Qianlong also took a group of people to Yuanmingyuan for the summer. For some unknown reason, a fire broke out in Qingyan Temple in Kyushu, which trapped Emperor Qianlong in the fire. At that time, 22-year-old May Yongqi personally carried his father, Emperor Qianlong, and fled the sea of fire together.
When her life was threatened, Yongqi didn't run for her life first, but thought of saving her father. This incident made Qianlong pay more attention to May Yongqi. Originally, Mei was a talented person, and this spirit of giving his life to save his father made Mei stand out among many Mei.
Brother Wu's superb martial arts, his ability to write and draw, especially his mastery of books, and his filial piety made Emperor Qianlong feel that he was "valuable". These advantages and specialties have always been admired by Emperor Qianlong and made by himself, and Yongqi happened to meet them in May. Especially for the Qingyan Temple fire in Kyushu, Mei personally carried Qianlong out of the fire, leaving an indelible impression on Emperor Qianlong.
Two years after this incident, Qianlong couldn't wait to make May Yongqi, who was only 24 years old, the title of Heshuo Rong Wang Qin. Of all the sons of Qianlong, only three were fortunate enough to be crowned as kings: Five Elder Brothers Yong Qi He Rong, Eleven Elder Brothers and Prince Shuocheng, and Fifteen Elder Brothers and Prince Jiaqing.
Yongqi, the fifth elder brother, was the first of all the sons of Emperor Qianlong to enjoy the honor of being crowned king, especially the word "Rong". There is also a Rong in history of qing dynasty, the fourth son of Dong E Fei (the famous Dong Xiaowan in film and television dramas), a favorite of the emperor shunzhi. The prince was almost made the Crown Prince, but only because of sourdrang dowager's obstruction, he had to be made the Crown Prince of Heshuo Rong. Therefore, Emperor Qianlong named May Yongqi as "Rong Wang Qin", which in itself showed his deep love and expectation.
At the time of sealing, May Yongqi was only 24 years old. Emperor Qianlong's love for May Yongqi is more than just sealing the crown prince. As early as May when he was young, Emperor Qianlong referred to May Yongqi as the official Fujin of Xilinjue Roche.
This Xilin Gol, the granddaughter of E Ertai, a college student in Yungan, gave Mei a powerful consort, which shows its importance. In other words, since childhood, Mei is the right person for Gan Long. Later, Yongqi's outstanding talent and personality made Gan Long love it very much.
He died young, but he was jealous of talent. After 30 years of dry dragon, Yongqi, the fifth brother, got bone-attached sores. Jin Jian, a medical doctor, believed that the disease could be cured by conditioning at that time. But he didn't want this disease to kill Brother Wu, which made Gan Long very sad. And this Wang Qin, who was named Heshuo Rong with him, only took office for less than five months, and the young man was successful, and this talent died of illness.
After Yongqi's death, Qianlong gave him posthumous title "purity", and Emperor Qianlong's own posthumous title was "purity". Emperor Qianlong once said with great regret, "I regard the five sons of the emperor as treasures among philosophers. I have studied Chinese, Manchu, Mongolian," Ma bu "or horse stance just look, and algorithms. I was interested in them without saying anything, but I died of illness."
The above words of Emperor Qianlong were mentioned in the fifty-eighth year of Qianlong (1793) when Emperor Qianlong met with the British envoy Ma Gorni. What I said in front of foreign envoys has been outspoken, and I want to pass the throne to May Yongqi. Although it has been more than 20 years since Yongqi died in May, Yongqi was buried in Prince Ding's tomb, the Prince's Mausoleum, in Miyun. Now it is about two miles away in Yanggezhuang Village, Bulaotun Town. It is the geomantic omen in China. It is a treasure and the only place in history of qing dynasty where three adults are buried.
1958 Due to the construction of Miyun Reservoir, all the Prince Mausoleum will be demolished. Three princes, including May, were buried in the tomb of Prince Miyun, not because Emperor Qianlong did not attach importance to May Yongqi, but because he attached too much importance to it. Miyun is a battleground for military strategists in past dynasties. It not only has a superior geographical position, but also has a prominent political position.
The tomb of May Elder Brother Yongqi was built in the 17th year of Qianlong, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters. No matter whether Emperor Qianlong was out of consideration of geomantic omen or out of his love for Miyun mountains and rivers, he buried Brother Wu here, which reflected his love for Brother Wu Yongqi from the side. Moreover, Emperor Qianlong was afraid of being disturbed, and specially sent fire cavalry to be stationed near the tomb of Prince Ding. This not only reflected Qianlong's attention to the tomb and Mei's love, but also was one of the reasons why people discovered that the tomb was not polluted by grave robbers when they excavated it hundreds of years later.
By observing the layout of the tombs, the Yongqi Mausoleum of May Elder Brother faces south, and its overall style is majestic and solemn. The tomb has surpassed Yongqi's status as a prince in May. Obviously, Mei was the Crown Prince at that time, and all specifications were used by the Crown Prince. Ganlong attaches great importance to Mei and loves this child.
After all, this prince was smart and studious since childhood, able to ride and shoot well, proficient in Manchu, Chinese and Mongolian, familiar with and good at astronomy, geography and algorithms, and also made great achievements in painting and calligraphy, which was also deeply loved and valued by the emperor. Everyone knows that if he is alive all the time, he will make great achievements, and Chu Jun's position basically belongs to him. The untimely death of such a talented person, whether it was the son of heaven at that time or the people today, could not help sighing. We can only hope that the story of May and the woman who fled to Jiangnan in Qiong Yao's novels is true. This is the destination that a romantic and meaningful talent should have in the secular eyes.
