The legend of Danhe Longmen: Shuidong Village, formerly known as Sujiazhuang, is a geomantic treasure land with outstanding people and it is said that the right emperor will be born. The Jade Emperor specially sent Guan Gong to guard this place to protect the feng shui here from being destroyed and to protect the right son from being born safely. So, Guan Gong took the heavenly soldiers and generals and his wife Grandma Guan down to earth and came to Sujiazhuang. He set up camp on nearby Yunlong Mountain, set up a commander's mansion, and took charge personally. Therefore, there is a place on Yunlong Mountain called Guan Gong Seat. The flat ground to the east of Guan Gong's seat is called Tianjie Terrace. Legend has it that it is the place where Guan Gong descended to earth and ascended to heaven.

After Guan Gong took office, in order to ensure public security, he captured all the local mountain spirits and water monsters and locked them up under Guan Gong's seat. Legend has it that there is a tiger, two dragons and two small snakes in this town.

When Guan Gong came down to earth, the Jade Emperor asked him to guard Sujiazhuang for seven days. Seven days later, the destined emperor was born safely, and Guan Gong completed his mission.

One day in heaven is one year on earth. Guan Gong was loyal to his duties, training his troops and horses hard here every day, and inspecting in person. Six days (that is, six years on earth) passed safely. On the seventh day, the Jade Emperor informed Guan Gong to go to heaven to discuss matters. Before leaving, Guan Gong asked Grandma Guan to take charge of defense on his behalf.

This year, Sujiazhuang was hit by a severe drought that had not happened in thousands of years. The five dragons controlled the water, but the dragon caused chaos, causing flooding and Sujiazhuang was flooded. The five dragons couldn't stop the rain and came to ask Grandma Guan for help to save the suffering creatures. Grandma Guan was virtuous and kind, but she was also worried about the suffering of the living beings. When she heard Wulong's request, she without hesitation pulled out the golden hairpin from her head and stabbed it towards the Nanling mountain ridge. Suddenly, the mountains collapsed and the ground cracked, lightning flashed and the mountain ridge A gap was made, and the lake jumped out of the mountain. The water flow was rapid and rushed deeper and deeper, forming the magnificent landscape of Danhe Longmen.

Wulonggong Temple: Regardless of the year when the original temple was built, the current temple was rebuilt in 1993 and is one of the main cultural attractions in the Longmen tourist area.

This temple was originally built to commemorate the legendary five dragons' achievements in controlling floods. Whenever there is a severe drought, villages with a radius of more than ten miles will beat gongs and drums, sacrifice pigs and sheep, and pray to the Dragon King for rain. Every year during the temple fair on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, faithful men and women pray to gods, pray for medicine, burn incense and sing operas. Strangely enough, it rains every year at the temple fair. Legend has it that this is the reason why the Dragon King comes here to watch the show.
