Brief introduction of Dongbao District
Dongbao District, named after the East Tower on the Taiping Peak, the main peak of Dongbaoshan in Jingmen City, was built in the Sui Dynasty. Dongbao is located in the middle of Hubei Province, bordering Jingshan Mountain in the north and Jianghan Plain in the south. It is the main urban area of Jingmen City, and 1985 was established as a county-level administrative region under the jurisdiction of the city with the approval of the State Council.
