Following the cage houses and cubicle houses, "coffin houses" appeared in Hong Kong, and the residents were mainly low-income people. In the coffin room, one cubicle room was transformed into six small rooms in the shape of a "well". Each room is only the size of a coffin and no more than five feet in height. The six residents live here like a cave dweller. Guests cannot stand or even sit in the room; they must lie down and crawl around like animals when entering or exiting.
