What fish is best to raise? Please recommend.
For novice fish keepers, I recommend goldfish, small carps and native fish. These three species are easy to raise.
The first is goldfish. There are many varieties of goldfish now, and there are some artificially improved goldfish. In fact, they are relatively delicate and not so easy to raise. Therefore, it is recommended that when choosing goldfish, you should try to choose some relatively primitive varieties. Grass goldfish is a good choice. Although it is not so ornamental, it has a relatively good physique and is not easy to die, so it can be raised by novices. A consideration for fish friends to get started.
The second type of small carp. Unlike koi fish, small carp are not that big, which means their oxygen consumption is not that large. And the color is pretty good-looking. I personally think it looks better than grass goldfish, and its physique is also relatively strong. Some park ponds have many small carp in them, which means they are not afraid of the cold. If you are just starting to keep fish, small carp is also a good choice, but small carp grows faster and eats more.
The third type of native fish. Some friends may ask, why is it a native fish? Because native fish have developed very rapidly in the aquarium market in recent years. In particular, some native fish native to China are actually very ornamental. Moreover, since they are native to China, their adaptability to water quality and water temperature requirements are not so stringent. As long as you don't scare them too much, they are actually very easy to raise. Then the native fish that can be prioritized include Chinese fighting fish, goby, giant catfish, etc.
