Technical system of Shanghai Meteorological Bureau
Shanghai's meteorological comprehensive detection system consists of professional meteorological observation stations such as ground meteorological observation, high-altitude meteorological observation, agricultural meteorological observation, radiation and acid rain, and modern detection equipment such as radar, satellite and lightning locator. The lightning monitoring network covering the whole province was built, and the construction of four-element automatic weather station network and GPS/MET network was started, which greatly improved the temporal and spatial resolution of meteorological monitoring information.
2. Meteorological information network system
Through the construction of China Meteorological Department's meteorological satellite integrated application business system (i.e. 92 10 project), VSAT satellite receiving stations have been built in all meteorological stations above the prefecture level in the city, and a satellite communication network covering the whole country has been formed by using satellite channels. The system not only meets the needs of massive meteorological data broadcasting, but also provides various functions such as data acquisition, voice communication and multimedia broadcasting, and the capacity of meteorological communication network system has been comprehensively improved.
3. Basic meteorological information processing, analysis and prediction system
A basic meteorological information processing, analysis and forecasting system based on numerical weather forecast, reasonable division of labor, collecting information from bottom to top, providing technical guidance step by step from top to bottom, and combining up and down is established. The IBM P690 high-performance computer system with a running speed of 265.438+76 million times was introduced, and a small and medium-sized numerical prediction system was built. Based on Micaps platform, a new generation of weather forecasting business processes at city and county levels, as well as a province-wide disastrous weather forecasting tool based on numerical forecasting products and a county-based guidance forecasting product have been developed, which has promoted the improvement of weather forecasting level, work efficiency and standardized work processes in our province. Meteorological departments at all levels in the province provide decision-making, public welfare and professional services to government departments, relevant units and the public in various forms, and have received good social and economic benefits.
4. Meteorological information technology service system
A modern meteorological service system integrating weather forecast, early warning, climate analysis and application, scientific and technological services, agricultural meteorology and artificial precipitation enhancement and hail suppression has been initially established. It has provided all-round and multi-level services for government decision-making, disaster prevention and mitigation, economic construction, people's livelihood, national defense construction and national security, significantly improved the overall efficiency of meteorological services, and played an important role in building the national economy, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, directing production for leaders at all levels against disasters, and revitalizing the local economy.
