Technology and Skills of Secondary Welding
1, select the appropriate equipment and materials.
MIG/MAG welding requires stable power supply and reliable welding gun, as well as welding wire and inert gas suitable for welding materials. Equally important, the welding material itself should meet the welding requirements.
2. Pretreatment of welding materials
Before the second shielded welding, the required metal materials must be cleaned to ensure that there is no grease, rust or other impurities on the surface of the materials. This can be done by using tools such as shovels, sandpaper, mechanical cleaning and detergents.
3, hand-held welding gun skills
The welder shall ensure that the hand holding the welding torch and welding wire is not twisted, and fix the welding torch and welding material with the other hand. When welding, the angle and distance of welding gun should be kept stable to obtain consistent welding quality. If the welding wire has scratches or is too prominent, it will produce bad welding effect for a long time.
4. Control of welding speed and current
The corresponding welding parameters must be compatible with the welding material. For example, the current can be adjusted with different welding wire materials and diameters, and the welding speed can also be adjusted with various characteristics of materials to obtain the best welding quality.
5. Heat transfer of welding materials
Reducing the heat transfer in the welding zone can also avoid the formation of cracks caused by thermal stress and ensure the welding quality. Welding materials should be avoided as far as possible to avoid deformation caused by thermal expansion or plastic deformation and quality problems caused by deformation.
Welder technology:
Familiar with the above two-pass welding technology and skills can not only improve the welder's skills, but also improve the welding efficiency and quality, reduce the occurrence of errors and quality problems, and make the welding work more efficient than ever!
