What is 8k paper?
The size of 8k is 420mm×285mm, and the size of A4 paper is 210mm× 297mm, so one 8k paper is equivalent to two A4 papers. The paper size with positive degree of 8 is: white material 270mm×390mm, finished product 260mm×370mm;; ; The size of Dafang 8 sheets of paper is: 420× 285 mm. 8K paper is also called 8-fold paper, which refers to the layout after the whole paper is folded in half for three times.
The specification of 787× 1092 mm flat base paper is the main specification of cultural paper in China at present, and most of the existing papermaking and printing machines in China produce and apply this specification of paper. At present, this size of paper is still used in Southeast Asian countries, and it is rarely used in other regions.
The size of 850× 1 168mm is made on the basis of 787× 1092mm 25 to meet the needs of large format. This size of paper is mainly used for the needs of large format, and the so-called 32-format book is made of this paper.
Base paper size
The unit K refers to how many pieces of base paper are cut flat, and 8k refers to cutting a piece of paper into eight pieces. Base paper has three main sizes:
1. Most of the existing papermaking and printing machines in China produce and apply 787mm* 1092mm paper;
The size of 2.850mm× 1 168mm is made on the basis of 787mm× 1092mm 25 to meet the needs of large format.
3. The international standard of base paper is 880mm* 1230mm. Because the size of the base paper is different, the size of 8k paper is also different. But generally speaking, it is based on the international standard of base paper, so the size of 8k paper is 420mm*285mm, which means that one 8k paper is equivalent to two A4 papers.
