Wushaoling, which is called Haxiang in Tibetan and means Monk Ridge, is located in the middle of the county and belongs to the Yanleneng Longling branch in the east of Qilian Mountains. Wushaoling is the throat of the Hexi Corridor, an important route of the ancient Silk Road, and an important military location. Yang Weichang in the Qing Dynasty called it a "snowstorm in hot weather". It is this kind of climate that is extremely suitable for the growth of highland barley and rapeseed. From July 1st to 10th every year, golden rapeseed flowers overlap with green wheat fields, adding a beautiful scenery to the snow-covered plateau. There is the ruins of the Han Xiangzi Temple on the ridge, which is located on the east side of the Gansu-Xinjiang Highway in the northeast of Anmen Village in Dachaigou Town and on the north side of Anyuan Town and Nanniwan Village in Wushaoling. It is one of the ruins of the Han Dynasty Great Wall with a total length of 10 kilometers. Ascending to Wushaoling Ridge in the morning, the Great Wall winds across the Jinqiang River and reaches the northern foot of Maya Mountain. It is continuous and winding.
