The main reservoirs in the middle and lower reaches operate at high water level, and the river channel has been in a state of large discharge for a long time. A new round of rainfall continues, and various unfavorable factors are superimposed, and the flood control situation is becoming increasingly severe.

Shandong Yellow River Affairs Bureau will closely monitor the weather and rain changes, conduct rolling consultations, accurately dispatch, strengthen engineering inspections, and implement emergency measures to ensure the safety of the Shandong section of the Yellow River during the flood season. Low-lying residential areas can take small enclosure measures according to local conditions, such as building fences, setting water baffles at the gate and configuring small pumps. It is not allowed to pour garbage and sundries into the sewer to prevent blockage and water accumulation in heavy rain.
