Why is the tropospheric weather complicated and changeable?

The characteristics of tropospheric temperature change are that the temperature decreases with the increase of height, which is beneficial to the formation of convection.

Therefore, the obvious convective movement and sufficient water vapor make the weather phenomenon in the troposphere complicated and changeable.

Major weather phenomena, such as clouds, rain, snow and lightning, all occur on this floor.

In contrast, the stratosphere is higher and farther from the ground, and the temperature changes little with the decrease of height, and the temperature tends to be stable. Without air convection, the air is much thinner than the troposphere, and there are few weather phenomena.
