Why is the name of Huang Yongyu’s memorial letter to Qian Zhongshu called lt;Northward Pain>?

I think it has two meanings.

1. Mr. Qian passed away in Beijing, and Mr. Huang Yongyu was in Hong Kong at this time. Beijing's geographical location is above Hong Kong, so it can be seen in the north in silence. (Of course it's not true north...it's northwest...my explanation is a bit far-fetched...)

2. In traditional Chinese Feng Shui, the north is yin and the south is yang. The pain of going north means that I feel sad because Mr. Qian Zhongshu went north. To put it bluntly, it means that Mr. Qian has gone to another world...

== Of course, this is my personal understanding. . Whether Mr. Huang thinks so is unknown.

PS. This book is good for an older man than me. I've been hooked since high school. Now I still feel good looking at it.
