Geographical environment of Shangyu District
Cao 'e River is the fourth largest river in Zhejiang Province, which runs through the whole territory from south to north. Its main tributaries are Xiaoshunjiang River, Xiaguanxi River and Yintan River. The main artificial rivers are Xiaocao Canal, Yuyong Canal, Shili River, Shili River, Baili River and Tu Hai Central River. The average inflow for many years is about 2.795 billion cubic meters, which is 3.33 times of the total water resources in the county. The main lakes are Xiaoyue Lake, Pogang Lake, Baima Lake, Chanba Lake, Zaoli Lake, Xixi Lake, Qi Xie Lake, Kangjia Lake and Hejiachi (part of the water surface belongs to Shaoxing County). Shangyu District of Shaoxing City is located in the southern edge of the north subtropical zone and belongs to the East Asian monsoon climate. The monsoon is obvious, the climate is mild, the four seasons are distinct, and it is rainy and humid. Due to the complex terrain, there are obvious regional differences in illumination, temperature and moisture, and there are many disastrous weather.
